Nice! That’s a great way to do it. Would you be able to also invert bank it with hard left spin? Off the far side rail, aimed up the table, and have the spin kick it back as if you were cutting it in? Then again, even if that’s possible it’d probably be way harder than this lol. And a bank off the opposite end of the table seems risky for scratch purposes (as in a different bank where you play it all the way down and back, like a starting lag to see who goes first)
That was a ricochet shot. The cue ball didn't hit the 8 ball twice. So no on the double kiss.😂 It's a good shot but not a double kiss 💋💋. You can see that on the slow motion replay.
2 kinds of double kiss... The one described in the video is legal... The ILLEGAL "double kiss" is when your cue stick strikes the cue ball twice in the same stroke/shot... This often occurs when the cue ball is too close to an object ball and the person making the shot pushes through the cue ball during his stroke... When played in slow motion, it is easy to see that the cue strikes the ball, the cue ball strikes the object ball and then the cue strikes the cue ball again... Without using a camera, these strikes may be identified by the behavior of the cue ball... After you play the game for so long, you'll begin to understand how the cue ball reacts when it strikes other balls or rails, then you'll know based upon that behavior, if an illegal strike has occurred... Furthermore, the term "double kiss" is not entirely accurate... For illegal strikes, as described above, it's called a "double strike", "double hit" or by some standards, an illegal "push", depending on who you're talking to... Although, a "push" is something entirely different that involves strategic positioning after the break... Hope this helps!
a double hit is a foul, a double kiss is a legal shot. Double Hit = cue stick hitting the cue ball twice Double Kiss = cue ball and object ball hitting twice important distinction! thanks for the comment!
That is clearly a push shot and a foul. Notice in the slow motion, the cue ball hits the cue tip twice and it changed direction upon the hit. Very bad shot. I'll rather use the upper cushion and bring the the ball in softly and elegantly.
