The soup looked delicious, you are such a clean person and I love your clear instructions and presentation of your meals. I will certainly be making this dish. Peace and Love 🙏🏼💜
Ria, I certainly learnt something new today!!!! Stewing for soup? ( My mouth was literally open). If anyone else showed this I would laugh and unsubscribe but I've tried more than a few of your recipes so I have faith and will try this today.
Nothing can stop our Trinidad cuisine . I will try the butter in the sugar . I know golden ray isn't healthy but love it so much i must use it in my cooking
Oh my goodness I’ve never had cow heel or pigtails…and today I’m willing to try ..There’s been no one that I’ve ever watched prepared cow heel and pigtail combination ever made it look as delicious as you..today I’m sold and willing to prepare on my own😊 However I do shop at my local Caribbean store for oxtails fish Etc.. I like the way they butcher the meats I also shop for seasonings vegetables like the hard to find root veggie that aren’t at most supermarkets.. I’m in love with Caribbean foods African foods and I’m in love with you and your cooking process…your instruction is flawless and so calming… 🌹 Thank you for sharing your recipes and passed down gems❤
Your instructions are clear and precise. The soup looks hearty and appetising. I eat neither pork nor beef so I'll do a chicken substitution. Can't wait to try.
I like the way she put the sauce on her hand n then taste I think all island people do the same we also cook the same way just like that thank you so much God bless
Your soup looks delicious, but I don't use butter and I'm not a fan of cow heel and pigtails or black eyed peas, and I've never heard of stewed soup. I always enjoy watching ur videos and continued blessings to u and ur family
I make chicken and pigtail soup like that but only with dhal and I’ve never cooked cow heel so will have to try that sometimes. Look delicious. I don’t eat a lot of hot pepper in my food but that soup needs so that lil appetite opener will be on my list too. ❤️❤️❤️
I tried this today. It was yummy. Browning the meat makes the soup more visually appetizing. Thank you for that. Your measurements are always spot on, even if I halve or quarter the recipe. Many thanks.
Hi Ria your soup looks very tasty. I’m Trini also the dumplin in our soup only put flour and water or corn meal. There is already enough salt and sugar in the soup not necessary.😊
I making soup for the 1st later for lunch today and your thumbnail of your soup looks just like my mom own so I will try to make it like your's. Thanks for the video
Never brown the meat in soup before and mixed the black eye with the split peas looked yummy yummy only I don’t eat pork so I’ll try turkey parts or beef

Hi! If I want to make this with chicken instead of de traditional pigtail …do I still place the chicken in the instant pot? Or do I stew it alone without the instant pot step? Great video !
@@CookingWithRia yea it was delicious for my first try. I didn’t have a pressure or insta pot took a while but I was pleased. Thanks for all your recipes always wanted to know how to cook these dishes didn’t have anyone to show me. I want to try curry duck next 😀
