Rob Fishingking Davis always a work in progress. The GoPro is pretty decent but has its limitations for sure.

How much money did u spend initially when buying all the equipment to start making bait

Cody Canevari if you go to the Do-it website they have some starter kits. If you have an old microwave you can use I’d say you can get a pretty good start for about $250-300.

Where did you get the salt

I got mine from Bear’s Baits. Bear went out of business. You can get it from Lurecraft though. Just be aware that salt holds moisture and can cause some bubbling in your plastic. I only use it in my Senko.

Bassin Grassin TV salt is a great way to control your rate of fall. It’s seemingly impossible to replicate the original Yamamoto, but I’ve gotten close enough for my liking....

First off, I enjoyed your video very much. I have that mold and it pays for it self in no time, I like your easy to understand way of teaching. I hope you make more videos like this, take care

Erick Darkman Prado thanks for watching! I’m in the process of moving to Florida at the moment, I’m hoping to get more videos made once I get situated down there!

No hood or respirator?

wgooetrik that shop has many windows. If I were pouring a large batch I would open them AND run fans, but for the purposes of this video a couple fans running and a respirator just aren’t feasible. You should absolutely take the safety precautions you feel necessary.

Thank you for the info. I will try this with popcorn salt(it seems to be of the right consistency). Thank you for your time and effort! Tight lines!

Joe Bleaux no worries at all. I’ve thought about buying a digital scale to see what a true Yamamoto worm weighs and then attempt developing a recipe to match it...

That would be an interesting experiment. I would compare fall rates in a tank of water. If figured correctly, a matched fall rate should equal the amount of salt used in a batch of legit senkos.

Joe Bleaux will be almost impossible to duplicate the original in texture and everything, but I’m having fun trying. The fish don’t seem to mind either....lol
