I love this lol. Unblack metal was actually my introduction to extreme metal. I remember being a Christian metalcore fan as a teenager and was checking into Underoath's Cries of the Past album, but ended up finding Cries of the Haunted by Slechtvalk as a search result. If it wasn't for bands like Antestor, Slechtvalk, Crimson Moonlight, Divine Symphony, Exousia, Cerimonial Sacred, Horde, Fire Throne, Frost Like Ashes, and Evroklidon, I don't think I'd be listening to, the often much better, secular/occult bands now.

Allow me a little bit of an "old man" moment here: In the late 80s/early 90s - when our parents were going through the "Satanic Panic" - a lot of times, we were *forced* to listen to "Christian Metal." Intense Records was legend with us, and yes - many of the bands on Intense Records were providing "the Christian Alternative." Tourniquet, Deliverance, Vengeance Rising, Mortification - and... since they changed their style, which is why they made it - the *only* Intense Records bands to actually hit mainstream, and stay that way, was P.O.D. Anything deemed "secular" was like facing a wall, and screaming at it. Pointless. "Take your "Christian Metal" and keep it inside your headphones." was what were told. Our parents, the "Boomers" were caught, full on, in all the horrible, and abusive things, they did to us before they "found Jesus" - and in keeping with that "redemption" Boomer Generation standard it was all about them. "Holy fuck we have been horrible parents... we should undo this with Jesus. Do not as I do, do as I say. Be punished and condemned to eternal fire and hell pain otherwise. Evil - unwanted - children!" Pay attention to the psychological cycles, and you will know where we are today.

dude thanks for including that clip gain tip on the waveform on your last gorenoise video, not only did it help me figure out more in one day than I did in like several years, It actually got me up to speed and helped with all the phase problems I usually have. most of those plugins definitely like to be fed waveforms that are a certain volume, otherwise it can be hard to get proper phasing and 'girth'

As a Christian Metalhead this video is hilarious BUT this does NOT mean that Christian Unblack Metal bands are talentless.

As a Christian who loves metal (mostly power metal), this was hilarious! I knew Unblack Metal (or White Metal) existed, so it wasn't a surprise to me to hear about this, but it was still a treat to watch the video! Not the most theologically accurate, but I'm not here for Biblical accuracy, and you're here to make funny (and mildly educational) music content.
