To Make Vegetable Broth
Oil - 1 Tsp
Bay Leaf - 1 No.
Garlic - 20 Cloves
Onion - 1 Bowl
Carrot - 2 Nos
Beans
Cabbage
Broccoli
Celery - 1 Bowl
Salt - 1 Tsp
Pepper - 1 Tsp
Water
METHOD:
1. Take a pot and heat it.
2. Add oil. Then add bay leaf and garlic cloves.
3. Add onions and mix well.
4. Next add roughly cut up carrots, beans, cabbage, broccoli and celery.
5. Mix everything well and maintain the flame on a low.
6. Then add salt and pepper powder. You can adjust the seasoning according to the vegetable quantities you are using.
7. Pour water and keep the flame on medium. Cook the vegetables for about 30 minutes.
8. After 30 minutes, turn off the stove and let the broth completely cook down.
9. Then transfer it to a glass jar and freeze it for upto 2-3 months or store it in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
10. You can use this yummy vegetable broth as a base in other recipes or you can heat it and enjoy it as a nice comforting soup.
Vegetable Broth also commonly known as vegetable stock is a versatile savory liquid. It is not only flavorful due to a lot of vegetables, it is also amazingly wholesome and nourishing.
