The Delonghi Magnifica can sometimes make a coffee that's too light. Here are 5 actions that will make your coffee stronger, more intense and more like a real espresso.
For a strong, full-bodied, quality espresso:
-Increase the coffee dose
-Increase the temperature to maximum
-Adjust the fineness of grind
Aim for a 30-40 ml espresso with a slow, steady flow.
Avoid a translucent, low-viscosity extraction.
If the espresso drips instead of flowing slowly :
-Adjust the grind size to make it less fine.
If the grind is too fine or too full, extraction may be slow and drip-like.
-Adjust the settings for different types of coffee beans.
