Awesome to see the result of so much hard work. Also a great video to depict the kind of dog that 99% of people would not enjoy living with. Could you imagine your dog lighting up like that everytime you put the collar on? 😂
It would be awesome but you would have to trust the dog and the dog trust you and know your the boss. And the want to please its owner like this dog.. Amazing dog very beautiful well rounded ,very intelligent and obedient.
“You’re gonna take a walk on the wild side, ya know? Maybe ya get bit 🤷🏼♂️” Love that, exactly what I tell my wife after training with my Rottie; sometimes he grabs a chunk of me with the ball, sometimes he gets a little chippy. It’s part of the fun of working with a DOG dog, and how you get to know where their limits are. Gage vids with you guys working are always my favorite.
“Good booyyyyy”🤣 Appreciate all the videos u upload. my girl bought a German Shepard at 6weeks, as of today she’s about 5-6months but wanted to get rid of it because she can’t make the dog listen to her. The dog thinks what she says is all fun lol. But none the less I’ve been watching your videos for about a month now since I took responsibility of our dog and giving our dog attention/ basic training when ever I can and there’s a BIG DIFFERENCE. Your advice and knowledge works. But now the dog only listens to me and no one else. (Future video topic🤣).
My year and a half GSD female is probably the most docile, sweetest female out there and she is the same way lol! She listens to me only and sees my husband as a toy/fellow pup. But, that's what happens when you don't put the effort in. Dogs know who true leaders are! Keep up your training! I'm proud of you.
Your being straight forward 100% when you train a dog your going to get jumped on and bite. That's how we dog and handlers learn together through the mistakes we both make.im nothing like you as a trainer but LEARNING from you. you really hit home on this subject for me everything. Thanks for sharing this Great content.
You are without a doubt the best I've Ever seen 👍. It is truly Enjoyable, educational rewarding listening, watching All that you do, simply Amazing 👍👍👍. I've had German Shepherds in the past (years ago), I've done my own version of obedience training , while using one word commands But you have taken training to an entire level in every way, you are without a doubt the best I've ever seen/witnessed 👍👍👍, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SHARING 😇👍. I want another German shepherd and I'm preparing for one. God bless you 😇👍👍
I would love to get into this type of training with my GSD, not even for titles, but just because I love the art that it is. But can't seem to find a trainers in the windsor-essex area of Ontario that offers this kind of training!
That's awesome. So is the activity something you create or does it come naturally as the dog matures (assuming it's a good working dog)? And if so at what age does the dog show enough drive for you to start using the toy for obedience? (With German Shepherds)
how do you deal with a dog that gets so excited during training that they are not focused well / not listening...just runs thru all of the commands on his own. ie- sits, stands, centers, barks
I love your videos - I have a large German Shephard and I'm in my sixties - He does good BUT I don't get his full attention and he seems La Dee Da (He's only 2) How can I get him to get excited? (Maybe you can refer me to one of your videos) Do you train every day for how long?
German Shepherds are the best breed but I always had show line German Shepherds and they were all great. The working line is to energenic and just wants to work all the time. That is not a real family dog. I know this guy will disagree with me.
