I didn't catch what headers you were using?? Also you mentioned that the x-pipe and mufflers placement was crucial..could you specify on where and why they are where they are? I have shorties on my ls2 rx8 and can't run LT's without some ridiculous custom headers and I love the sound of your truck..hoping to replicate this
It’ll be much easier to get a sound like this out of a car like yours since you won’t be running long piping such as I am since it’s a truck, yes you can run the x pipe with shorties, and in my particular set up for trucks I said that the x pipe is crucial because trucks come with a L shape pipe that converts into one and that gives it the truck sound and then the mufflers I placed them all the way in the back to mimic a car axle back, I’m sure your rx8 already has the mufflers all the way in the back since it’s a car

How much power are you makin? I want to 6 spd swap my 5.3 c10 but tr6060s are expensive t56 little more in my budget. Im makin roughtly 400hp. Do you think the t56 with be solid?
@@Andregarcia5.0 A company called Celeritech does it. Afai they are the only company i know who can weld it and sell it online. Maybe you saw the popular ls3 corvette video with equal length headers. They made those headers.
Yeah those are the right ones, they don’t actually make an “extreme” axle back, the extreme catback system uses sport axle backs and the sport catback system uses the touring axle backs
I don’t understand why you would want a pickup truck to sound like its car equivalent that it shares the same similar engine with. They literally make the Vortec engine specifically for the trucks.
