What stunning cards! They are unique because of the layers and beautiful. Love this stamp and the background stamp, too!❤

What a treat getting two videos from you in one day... happy me! Julia I love, love, love the card that you made, and what a lovely idea having the different layers..., truly beautiful! In fact I didn't notice the different layers at first. You always surprise me by using unusual items in your demonstrations at times, and this time it was the acetate, and piece of card from packaging. Instead of me saying out aloud to the screen "what are you going to do with that" I sat quietly and watched very interested. I can certainly see the need for the acetate otherwise you would have had a huge mess on your pinwheel template. I am assuming that the cardboard was thinner than foam, but it would also be much cheaper as well. Julia you are so thrifty as you can see uses for things that I throw away in the bin!!! I am so happy that I discovered you channel... thank you. : )

Sweet Gloria - You always make my day! And, I am so glad you liked this card. The layers just kinda sneak up on you don't they? I wish I could give credit where I saw the packaging used first, but I am at a loss...but I love the idea! But it does add a bit of heft to the card front. Have a lovely day...and come back soon!!

This is a great technique. And if you use scrap white paper to lift between the layers, it makes it a very subtle dimension. It takes a minute for your brain to figure out just really what's going on.

Love that background stamp! I like your idea of using packaging for "lift", I'm all about reusing what we have. I use the foam sheets that sometimes come in fragile packages - you can also buy big rolls of it if you are packing to move but any chance I get I make sure to save it. I wish you two would let us post pictures because a lot of people won't have any idea what I'm talking about, lol. It's just really thin "sheets" or square pieces of almost clear foam... Lord - if there's a better name or a better explanation for this that someone else has, please feel free to speak up! 🤣

I understand exactly what you are referring to. And I save all I get as well. My stamp collection is pretty large and I sometimes get duplicates in a "Lot" purchase, so I send them on to stampers and use that to pad the box. Never thought about using it for layers but it would be perfect! I love that stamp too, and have used it on many different cards. It never disappoints! Happy crafting and Come Back Soon!

Oh, Julia I really like this card. I can't find that gorgeous Woodward stamp around my area but I will search my stamps for a substitute. I have to give this a try. As always, thank you for sharing. Hugs.

Thanks Frances - I always love the results this technique gives. And if you don't use foam, but double cardstock between layers the lift is more subtle. It takes just a minute for your brain to figure out what's going on, and zone in to the details. Fun cards to make too!!

What a great technique. I wonder with matching the angles up you could take a small single stamp and make a wreath? Great card.
