I do just like you said I have 2 of the little crockpots I infuse fenugreek with avocado oil & after 3 days I put the oil & seeded in my kitchen cabinet in the dark for 3 weeks. When it’s time I had peppermint essential oil’s to one & the other I add a few sprigs of Rosemary. After chemotherapy I was bald & fenugreek has been the biggest thing that has helped me grow my hair back on this journey.
I keep a dark mason jar full of oils and goodies in my windowsill and infuse the old fashioned way for at least 2 months. I prefer powders for the potency but my straining process takes days starting with an old french coffee press and then slow dripping thru a coffee filter lined mesh strainer. Takes patience but the end result is the most pure rich infusion with no residue. Sidebar: I’m on week 4 of the hair challenge and my hair has done a complete 180! You’re definitely the greatest of all time in this Ayurvedic hair space! ❤️❤️❤️
Fenugreek is amazing! I feel it's one of the best products I've used on my hair, fullness and strength I've noticed. I'm infusing some oil now, I'm impatient but I have to wait for the rights results. lol
Great tips. Not much of a diyer but you make it easy and simple to do. Thanks so much. I am loving ❤️ the 6 week challenge I saw and see such a difference.
Any diy recipes to use fenugreek as/in a conditioner in the shower. Something that can be left in hair for a few minutes, rather than hours, and has the slippage of a conditioner for easy comb through after showering?
She said 2-3 weeks. Personally I'd do 6-8 weeks. Is standard at least for western herbalists. It takes the oil a while to extract properties. Also keep away from sunlight. It is the great disintegrator after all. It will "decompose" the properties you extracted making the whole process pointless.
Hi Khadija, do HennaSooq sell the Fenugreek seeds? I only see the powder (which I have) on your website. I don't want to use the powder for infusing, I only want to use the seeds for making the oil. If you don't sell the seeds, which brand of the seeds do you use or does it matter? I am asking because you are one of the few experts about Ayurveda products and advise that I trust. Thanks in advance and thank you again for these wonderful on-point free classes and tips.
The powder might actually be better because the seeds are broken down. You will get a much better infusion this way because more of the you'll get more of the product in your oil. There's only so much a seed can release compared to the powder.
@@shervonwhitt2385, thanks for your reply. Okay, thank you, I didn't know that. That makes sense. I do have both, the seeds and the powder, the powder I purchased from HennaSooq. I will give that one a try since I love their Henna. Thanks again
