Here I show the process of building a diner style booth seat for your kitchen. The seat lid opens up to reveal storage compartments. Very useful, popular and modern. You will see me create the frame and upholster the whole seat. I use the diamond button tufting technique to create a lovely back rest which can be mounted on the wall.

What an AWESOME build!!! It's beautiful, and looks very comfortable. I've only ever seen this type of upholstery done by one other person. Chest'er would be SO proud of you!!!! I sure hope he sees this video. I can see why you have been so busy lately. I'm sure this took quite a lot of time. It was lovely to see you build something, and have it turn out so amazing. This was not an easy build. You are SO very talented, and always a joy to watch you work. The puppies are still enjoying to watch too. I'm glad that they get along so well. Take care....See you on the next one!!!!

Wow thank you Karen. It’s made my day that you mentioned Chest’er. He is off the scale talented. You’re very kind. I hope you’ve caught more glimpses of your cat recently. It was lovely of you to check in on Facebook ❤️ hopefully won’t be as long for my next video… it will be significantly smaller haha I need a rest 😂

You are very welcome! You really did a beautiful job!! Chest'er IS amazing. He's a joy to watch, too. No, sadly, I haven't seen Fluffy for 10 days now. It has been very cold and windy here lately. We got some snow on Sunday morning. Sad to say, I have given up hope of her ever returning home. I just hope she's safe and warm somewhere else. Thank you for asking.

I must admit, there was a point when I thought “hmm maybe I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.” 😂 Thank you for saying nice things 😊 I don’t often get time to work on upholstery so this was a welcome opportunity for me. 🙌

Aww that’s a lovely thing to say, thank you. I’m very grateful to everyone who watches and takes the time to comment. This build took soooo long because I work full time for the NHS so I have to work on my channel projects on evenings and weekends. Love how it turned out though. Hope you are well ❤️

Thanks Martine. No I’ve made a few things of a similar nature, an arm chair, a stool and my daughter’s bed and headboard. Other than that I’m fairly new to upholstery. Greetings back from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
