If anyone is getting “timed out “ on the friends end make sure both of you guys are on a wifi connection doesnt need to be the same wifi aslong as both ends are connected to internet it might help
What happened exactly? Cuz me and my friends had trouble going trio too, third friend could barely even join the world and even when he did he had major lag and kept disconnecting
Dude, thank you so much. I have had Terraria on PS4 for years, but I just started playing split screen with my girlfriend. She loved it so much she decided to buy the mobile version for both of us so we can play together more often, and we were both so dissapointed when we thought we wouldnt be able to play together without renting a server (havent quite reached the moving in together phase yet). Youre awesome man! Made both our days. Idk if you still make content but definetly got a sub out of me!

It was working perfectly fine for a few days then one day it stopped working we even tried making a new zero tier network and it still wouldn’t work my friend keeps getting connection timeout messages
I tried it with my friend and it didnt work so i made him host it instead we followed steps perfectly but it didnt work for either of us it just gave us connection timeouts

This legitimate know me and my friends joined far away from each other So one thing how can I fix "Connection Timeout" we did everything we had good signals we did everything in the video made another server double check but pls help
Is anyone else having trouble staying connected? I'm trying to connect my brother's PC to my android phone (same wifi network). It worked once but kicked him out and now it seems to freeze at the loading screen (after he entered the IP address) and won't let him join anymore.

The 2nd top comment says both have to be connected on Wifi, they said it doesn't have to be the same WiFi connection, just as long as both are connected to WiFi
