Originally Zhajiangmian is a Chinese dish called 炸醤麺 which has sweeter taste than Japanese Zhajiangmian.
Have you tried it before? Some Japanese convenience store has one.
I cooked Zhajiangmian today, but I have more noodle dishes I want to eat in summer!

INGREDIENTS-Zhajiangmian -
(for 2 servings)
Meat Miso-
150g ground pork
1tbsp vegetable oil
1 clove of garlic
1 piece of ginger
1 dried shiitake mushroom (re-hydrated)
50g boiled bamboo shoot
1/2 Japanese leek
Seasonings
2 tbsp Tenmen jan(sweet soy bean paste)
1/3 tsp dou ban jiang (chili bean sauce)
180ml water
1/2 tsp Wayper (a versatile Chinese stock used as seasoning for Japanese style Chinese foods)
1tbsp sake
1tsp sugar
1tbsp cornstarch slurry
1tsp sesame oil
chili oil (if you like)
Zhajiangmian
Chinese noodles(for 2 servings)
2tsp scallion oil
1/2 cucumber
1/3 bags of bean sprout
1/2 Japanese leek
2 yolks
