Well done sir, thank you for a useful video which is very helpful even for patients who don't understand what treatment at Dentist will apply once a dry socket has already formed
I’ve been binging dry socket videos for the past couple of hours because I’m getting a tooth extracted tomorrow. I’ve never heard of it before today. I’m scared but I’m also glad that these videos exist so I know what not to do, and how to avoid it.
@@Krishnaaa2244 Oh the extraction went great 👍🏾. I also didn’t get dry socket. My hole started to close after a week. I just ate soft things at first but I was able to eat solid food after 4 days. I have two more teeth that need to be token out so at least I’ll be prepared & no what to expect now.
@@Krishnaaa2244 Nah, it was a cavity with a big ass hole 🕳 that shit hurt like hell. I don’t wish it on my worst enemy. I couldn’t sleep at night, I couldn’t eat what I really wanted. I had to suffer with that for three months because I didn’t have money to get it took out so I had to get a job and save up for it. It cost me 350$ I don’t have dental insurance either so I had to pay cash. But idc, I wanted that mother fucker out of my mouth asap.
Hi Doc, You are awesome for giving all this valuable information. I really appreciate that.🙂 My father, age 63, has been taking Aspirin 75mg daily as an antiplatelet for the past 2 years since he had a stroke. Our neurologist has advised strictly not to stop Aspirin 75mg before or after the extraction and to continue taking it. I found some literature online and on "medicine interaction checkers" that Ibuprofen should not be taken with when Aspirin is active in the body. So can he take any other safe alternative as a pain killer after the extraction?
I just got my wisdom tooth pulled on Thursday but I noticed that it had a hole. I’m not having any pain but I’m also talking 600 Ibuprofen so that might be why I’m not experiencing any pain. Is it normal for there to be a whole is this a dry socket. Or do you have to have a lot of pain ?
Sir, will there be any problem if the alvocure is left inside the socket becoz there is a healing already in extraction site where the alvocure was placed and in the next visit the alvocure is not visible to get removed. ???
It's been 18days from the Wisdom Tooth Extraction surgery i had dry socket after 5days and with Re-Dressing it was fine. But after 15days still some dry socket is present and now again I'm having severe pain even little Dressing is present in my mouth
Today is been a week since my wisdom tooth removal & my only concern is that I can’t stop spitting. Is this normal ? Or do I have some type infection or dry socket
Can u plis explain in detail how to use N how much quantity of alvogel should be place by daigarm, animation or on pt for after extraction placement and for dry socket placement
I’m currently recovering from a dry socket. I broke my tooth the afternoon of November 27th, so I couldn’t get an appointment with a dentist until the next Monday. I’ve never had a dry socket before, & I’ve had a number of extractions. But this one was different for some reason. The dentist had only given antibiotics once, an hour before the extraction, & no follow-up antibiotics. She did, however, give some pain medication, & I’m so glad she did. I don’t know how I would have managed if I didn’t have it. She did prescribe azithromycin, though, when I went back with the dry socket. I wonder why some dentists write for antibiotics at the time of the extraction, & some don’t.
Is it ok if I am unable to see my blood clot. Because yesterday I got my wisdom tooth extraction. But there is a deep hole I am seeing. Right now I don't have pain because I am taking antibiotics and painkillers. Pls reply is this a dry socket
Hello. Is been a week since my bottom wisdom tooth extraction and I’m still in pain. It also hurts/throbs when I rinse my mouth with water and the water hits the extraction site. Is this normal?
