Can you refuel the cartridge with bulk methanol? What do you when the cartridges are no longer available?

Hi Robert, for my boat i end up buying about 3-4 cartridges of Methanol EFOY M10 fuel per year. Not sure how you would refill the M10 cartridge.

Yep, there are commercial 24 VDC EFOY units available.

I love this option. Sorry, these Efoy’s need no maintenance with little use (Marina Del Rey to Catalina for occasional weekend getaways)?

Personally have a EFOY on my coastal cruising sailboat and really glad i do, especially when the sun isn't shinning and the solar panels aren't really doing much. The EFOY allows me to stay at a anchorage without running the engine to get the alternator to recharge my batteries at idle.

Can this fuel cell be installed in a gasoline engine bay? Is it spark safe?

fully silenced diesel genarator 5 kv 3000 dollars... fuel 3 dollars a gallon... so eeerrrr .. lets do the maths.....

Hi Richard, diesel generator is always less money then fuel cell. Choosing a methanol fuel is not just a money thing, it's also about how space you have, weight you can have, and how important it is for you to have quiet power.
