Cranial cruciate disease is very common in dogs and it often causes pain and lameness. In some cases the ligament can rupture and dogs require surgery to regain function of the leg.
In this video we meet Roxy, who was having issues with her cruciate ligament. Thankfully she has avoided surgery but she has developed some interesting characteristics with her movement, mainly a bunny hopping action indicating tightness in her hips.
Check out this video where Pearl discusses her movement patterns and things her owner can do to help alleviate pain associated with her disease. Let us know your thoughts on this video in the comment section below.
