Start with the Basics
Understand the Fundamentals: Learn the foundational stances, punches, kicks, and movements. Focus on form and technique rather than speed or power initially.
Work on Your Stance: A good stance provides balance and stability, which are crucial for both offense and defense.
Physical Conditioning
Strength Training: Incorporate exercises that build the muscle groups used in fighting, such as the legs, core, and upper body.
Flexibility and Mobility: Stretch regularly to improve flexibility, which enhances your range of motion and decreases the risk of injuries.
Cardiovascular Fitness: Endurance is key in a fight. Include cardio exercises like running, jumping rope, or shadowboxing to improve your stamina.
Technique and Form
Shadowboxing: Practice your moves without an opponent to work on your form, technique, and combinations.
Heavy Bag Training: Work on a heavy bag to improve your power, speed, and accuracy. It also helps in practicing combinations and understanding the impact of your strikes.
Speed and Reflexes: Use speed drills and reflex training to improve your reaction time and speed. This can include using a double-end bag or reaction balls.
Tactical Knowledge and Strategy
Study Fights: Watch professional fights or training videos to understand strategies, movements, and counters.
Learn Defense: Equally important as offensive techniques, learn how to block, dodge, and counter-attack effectively.
Mental Preparation
Visualization: Visualize your moves, fights, and reactions. It helps in mental preparation and reaction planning.
Stress Management: Learn breathing techniques or meditation to manage stress and keep calm under pressure.
Safety and Progression
Practice Safely: Use proper gear, such as gloves and mouthguards, even when training alone to prevent injuries.
Gradual Progression: Increase the intensity and complexity of your training gradually to avoid overtraining and injuries.

This guide is a starting point for developing a comprehensive home training routine. Depending on your specific martial art or fighting discipline, you may need to tailor your training to fit its unique demands. Remember, while self-study can be effective, working with a coach or joining a class, even virtually, can provide personalized guidance and accelerate your learning.

Good info but some of those moves wouldn't work like the Elbow chop. If they grab you, they're going to grab you hard
