What is all around mic from Lewitt that I can use to record guitar amp, vocal and drums perhaps?

The LCT 640 TS is a fantastic multi-purpose studio mic. My favorite for guitar amps, acoustic, vocals, drum rooms... it really can do it all since it's multi-pattern and has a built in pad (plus dual output mode!). If you don't have as much budget, the LCT 440 PURE is a great option too

This is a goofy video. If the point of this is to illustrate how mic placement affects sound quality, then you did more than you intended. The presenter guy has the benefit of good placement but really poor processing. The professional engineer seems to be suffering a lot of variation throughout the video. Useful demonstrations with the flashlight, etc, but mic placement seems to not have been an issue with the guest 'pro' guy.

What do you mean by poor processing?
@jackkellyKMM
@jackkellyKMM 6 месяцев назад
@@easternsouvenirs The audio we have from the presenter is showing effects of compression and EQ. Both of those can be good if used correctly, which usually means sparingly. In this sort of application, I would not want either the compression or EQ to be noticeable as effects. Since the point of the video is to demonstrate the impact of mic placement, It is not helpful if the audio we are hearing from the two sources sound completely different...and little of that has to do with mic placement. I doubt (and hope) that the Lewitt truly sounds as bad as what we are hearing.

@@jackkellyKMM With Joe's voice, you're not hearing a LEWITT mic. It was just his AirPods. And the compression artifacts you're hearing are just internet streaming compression from using Microsoft Teams. Our goal wasn't to show how good Joe's speaking voice can sound, it was to learn from his experience in real life studio recording situations.
