Yeah, I just made the same upgrade and the jump in quality is incredible. The 7's camera wasn't awful, but it didn't have the kind of quality that encouraged you to really play around with it. It just sort of...took maybe-okay pictures [in ideal light] that were a sidegrade from my old Galaxy S4. My 13 though is blowing me away with the picture quality,, and I want to figure out how to use the camera best as possible. It feels like we're finally reaching a spot where a phone camera will genuinely produce excellent pictures for anyone who isn't a professional photographer, or a hardcore hobbyist that regularly prints out their pics and is already willing to shell out for a dedicated camera.
I tuned in here to find out about using a F button shown in portrait mode on my iphone 13, it goes amber or white when pressing it but I cannot see a difference - what is it for or how do I use it please?
I want to learn how to use the 13 to take video and images of the moon at night... Right now the moon is huge but the camera makes it look so tiny... any help?
An incredible amount of bells whistles and gingerbread that 99.99% of people will never use. Feature creep. I think anyone who will use more than 1 or 2 features will get a real camera.
