Could you please suggest any organic modeling courses because i've been looking for such for a long time and can't find anything. Not a songle one organic modeling course. Can you suggest me some organic modeling courses or keywords I can use to find such? I don't think it's possible there aren't any. I'm probably just doing something wrong, plz help.
What type of organic modeling (characters, creatures, environments, props, etc)? If you want to go deep into organic modeling, sculpting then retopology is the way to go.
@@OnMars3D Creatures and characters is what I want to learn to make first and then start learning the other things you mentioned in the brackets. By the way doesn't organic modeling just mean modeling of living creatures or is something more than that?
19:30 does that mean it is okay, to have edge loops in an island that can breakout basically to areas where it shouldn't be as long as the areas where I want now or later more edge flows, are contained? I'm having trouble to create an contained island that has no edge loops breaking out but I will not use them to add more detail
Hopefully you can grab a screen shot from the video but I will look to creating a 'Resources' page on my website to upload similar, high resolution references. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for another brilliant video. Perfect narration and extremely useful information, as always. Your channel has been a huge discovery for me, I think it's 100 times more powerful than some popular channels like Flipped Normals. Any chance you can film a video on how to model an HP iPaq h1940? I think I've been struggling with the bottom part (where the buttons are) for like 20 hours and still can't figure it out(
Thank you! Have you seen my video on how to model panels: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F7cq5qQXrx8.html I would use this technique for where the bottom buttons are and then make the buttons themselves separate objects to keep everything modular.
@@OnMars3D Hey, so I've got this now ibb.co/SmPCd8M ibb.co/sv0dcQN ibb.co/k9bqfKh Though can't still figure out how to make these corners sharp without affecting the overall topology (pictured on the 3rd link). I'll be glad if you can advise smth.
adding pole or that diamond shape wont cause issues for fluid simulation like bifrost or realflow? im havin a very hard time filling a logo from inside bud the retopo acts so wierd...
@@OnMars3D @On Mars 3D thanks for answer, im trying to place a liquid emitter inside an object, but when i set the object as collider , its like the model is full of air and water will be pushed outside and only collides outer side of model, so i cant fill the object with liquid.
@@OnMars3D you explain clear and direct, topology is a headache sometimes, and a good topology on hardsurface models for baking without any artifacts at edges and corners or cilinders, etc due to the normals is another nightmare too.
Thank you, I put a lot of effort into my videos so I'm glad you find them helpful. I'm working on baking texture maps (high to low) next with my cyberpunk grenade, so stay tuned!
