Great segment, Will. I have seen teachers who teach some of this stuff, but your lesson was so practical. It is exactly one of the things that I have been struggling with. Timing was great - thank you !

But, many of us still are guessing...because many do not have a way to accurately measure their shot distances. Driving range...have a flag at 100...150...200. Great. 50...no. 75...no...I can guess I hit it half way to 100 I suppose. Or guess I hit it 3/4 way to 100... That's if I'm lined up in line with the markers. From the side...different measurement. Not trying to be difficult. Just explain reality for lots of people that don't have access to scopes, well marked ranges, etc. Would it be worth the money to take a lesson for pro to help establish these distances? Maybe go to Topgolf where it tells me my distances?

Great point and totally true. Bad range targets and bad balls. Problem with Top golf is flighted balls so they do not go full distance so people don’t hit them over the fence. I would suggest to go and rent an hour on a trackman or GC quad from a local pro or indoor teaching facility and gap yardages. Or head out on the course and practice in the evening with 3 balls. A yardage finder is a great investment but cost a pretty penny.
