Coach Will Robins helps you shoot lower scores with The Scoring Method. He talks course management, golfing mindset, practice, swing and the 3 Keys to Unlocking Your Golfing Potential!
The Scoring Method shows you what club to hit, where to hit it, and then lets you understand exactly where you went wrong and how to practice. It’s a new way to look at the game of golf with the skills and swing you have today.
You’ll learn how to get the ball in the hole quicker with the expectations and concrete strategies you need. We’re talking less frustration and no more blow-up rounds.
Regarding the last shot you could just flatten the grass behind the ball like Bubba Watson does here.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lvRPU27nWRo.htmlsi=T6rVZa9EEbkd9LB0
I appreciate your perspective. I see that each one of these shots are ones that 90’s shooters have not be taught how to hit so they usually lead to blow up holes. I have found that one blow up hole often leads to two or three bad holes in a row. That what turns a 84 into a 91. I have found that by being able to hit these shots when they do occur enable you to make bogies and eliminate blow up holes. Your thoughts?
Golfing dynamics are not as easily “learned”. First you need to know your own game and shots, shape your shots, then strategize the course. Learning your course and playing it strategically is the most important aspect of low handicaps. Well done presentation.
I would have putted those chips. But that’s because I can’t chip. My best score was 92. I’m a complete beginner. I have no idea what is a good score is. Haha
Keep watching the videos. Also check out www.thescoringmethod.com if you want to play your best golf and learn how to shoot lower scores guaranteed this is the place to start.
This makes a whole lot of sense to me. The idea that you have already been playing golf for 15 minutes before you hit your first tee shot, as opposed to hitting balls randomly, is a game changer. I like the idea of warming up the mind and body separately. Looking forward to trying this out. Thanks. 🙂
Great video again, love the energy. 🙏🏼 Have been watching your videos lately and trying to take elements into my game and agter playing for a year have finally hit sub 90 a few times in the last week 👌🏽. Some of this mental arithmetic is similar to Padraig Harrington's quote's in his videos w Peter Finch about being so arrogant to think youu can be angry with yourself for a bad shot. Its about addressing the process and trying to correct it for the next shot rather than throwing the toys out of the pram. Also funny how serious the pro is in this video game face on 😂👌🏽
I'd pay a lot of money to take my yips away. Can putt like a king on the putting green and as soon im in competition they come on. Have switched to right handed putting (I play lefty) and im getting better at it. But my left handed putting used to be the best part of my game
If you watch the first minute of the video on mute, you’d 100% be able to tell this dude is English by how out of place he looks throwing his damn clubs
Great video! Very helpful information! However to find the average of a distance for more than one shot, you would add the shots together and then divide by the number of shots hit. That’s how to get the average distance to the hole. So your averages are a lot closer than you explained. Not taking anything away from the info, just making sure people are calculating their averages correctly.
Ok let’s double check the math First shot was 9 paces so x3 = 27ft 2nd shot was 6 paces so x3 = 18ft 3rd shot was 12 paces so X3 = 36 So 27+18+36 = 81 ft now divide that my 3 balls = 27ft Which is exactly the same as the total paces as you have 3 balls and a pace is 3 ft. Hope this helps.
I'll be honest, when I started breaking 85, I didn't really think of any of these things. I knew my game. My shots became fairly predictable. I hit more fairways, which allowed me to hit more greens, which allowed me to make more pars and birdies. It's really that simple. Start at the tee and work your way down the hole., Think of it like billiards; you're always setting yourself up for the next shot. I'm not saying there's no merit to any of this, I'm just saying that's how it was for me 40 years ago when I first started hitting low 80's.
“Use your data…” that’s fantastic advice! Too many mid handicappers look at your stats and try to mimic them. But everybody is different. Find out what you do, get the hard stats, own it, and make the necessary adjustments.
3 chips with Pwedge. Total distance for 3 balls = 7ft. 7 ft divided by 3 = 2 ⅓ ft avg per chip! If you averaged 7 ft per chip, esch ball would be 7 ft (or 6 ft,7 ft, and 8 ft) from cup, Where did you learn your math?
Let’s take a deep breath now before we start judging each other. In the video you will see me pace off 7 steps so not 7 feet but seven paces which average 3 ft per pace. Seven pieces times three equals 21 feet divided by 3 golf balls equals an average of 7 feet.
I really like this channel. You are really inspiring to me because you’re helping someone who’s a 20 handicap. So many channels are dedicated to people who are low handicap golfers. I am a 15 and this channel is very helpful practical for me. Thank you!!
Outstanding methodology. Just subscribed and will check to see if you have videos on common faults with the full swing, such as fat shots, over the top downswing, etc.
uuum.. when you step off distances you need to factor foot size vs gait distance. each stride will be nearly 3ft on avg, regardless of which ‘somatotype’ a person is (endo/meso/ecto). so stepping off putt distances is more heel-toe than full strides; but oc you may disagree.
That makes sense. I think if players can get it with in 20% accuracy that works just fine. As long as they don’t start telling fish stories I HIT THIS CLOSE!!!
