Sorry. All of these "Answers" a WRONG (being too high by 1 mm), since the Red Line being measured STARTS at the 1 mm mark (Or 0.1 cm mark) and NOT at the actual Zero mark.
Would like a quick response! How do you know when to apply the Double 0 (12.00) Only when the line is really precise and on the measurement? Because if it was off you couldnt really put 12.00 because it really isnt that, it'd be 12.0 right? Like if it looked to be 12.03(But since you cant use 3 since you round to 0 or 5) it would instead be 12.0 not 12.00 correct? Also What Do you do if the measurement available is only Whole numbers how would you round that? Like it goes from 0-100 the measurements and they are not precise or accurate they go by 10s but there is a little arrow pointing in the far half of the number 10 it looks to be on 8 but would I say its 10.0? Or 8.0? There is nothing that proves its eight since the only lines are every 10 numbers. i suck at explaning but hope i explained myself pretty good
ALL MEASUREMENTS are limited to the precision of the measuring device plus one estimated place that must be a zero or a 5. Therefore the last place in ANY measurement from any measuring device contains the error...in this case the ruler measurements must ALL BE rounded to the 100ths place.
+Talon Night Yup! The measurement must be ROUNDED to the nearest hundredth...ehich will either be a zero or a five depending on if it must be rounded up or down. That last place can ONLY be a 0 or 5, nothing else.
