I've always skated a US 12 and only recently have I realised I've been skating boots much bigger than I need! To give you an idea I'd never felt the end of my shell with my toes before... Now I can skate US 10s with the right liner! 🤯
The thing I don't get is in shoes I am 13 US but I measured my feet at exactly 11 inches long. I'm about to buy skates now -online- and so I figured I would look for a 13 skate at first. I went to the store and tried on a rollerblade. I fit into a 12 well. So there is an inch difference..both ways.I guess that means I should size up from my foot size, but down from my shoe size?Maybe halfway in between would fit me? And what about company differences as to how they choose to size. Ugh, buying skates online makes me leery, wish there was another option.
I agree, Rich. It's very difficult to order online. Frankly, it's odd that the skate companies themselves don't just do the conversions for us; some will say "order one size down"...okay, then why don't they just make the one size down equal the shoe we'd wear. Lol. The other thing is width. The gentleman in the video doesn't factor it in, but for some inline skates, especially hockey skates, it can be a big factor. Another dimension for us to screw up....lol. Cheers.
If the internal of skates shell is 248mm and my foot length is 24.2cm, and i downsize 1 shell size to be in the 248mm internal length of skates Will i be able to fit in with the liner?
