Melt Ganyu is one of the strongest teams in Genshin! It's well known that this team can be played with either Xiangling, Kazuha, or Jean, but info on rotations with anemo units where you shred cryo resistance and boost cryo damage every rotation doesn't seem to be common.
In this video, I explain 4 different rotations that vary in difficulty:
- Xiangling (Most straightforward)
- Anemo non-shredded (Similar to Xiangling, but more caveats)
- Anemo shredded, timing dependent (Timing precise execution)
- Anemo shredded, skillshot dependent (Positioning precise execution)
This should be taken as a starting point and not an end-all-be-all guide, so I'm sure there's improvements to the rotations and builds, but I hope this information is still useful to you! E.g. if you use Diona instead of Zhongli, you can skip using Ganyu to apply cryo in the skillshot rotation to save time. There's infinite combinations you can do, and these are just the ones I felt were most valuable to explain!
Also worth mentioning is that with perfect mechanical skill, I believe it's supposed to be possible to get 5 fully melted charge shots off per rotation with the Jean variant (have to skip using skill on her), but it's not something I can do.
Disclaimer: I don't know mathematically if Xiangling's damage + Pyro Resonance works out to be higher DPS or the Kazuha/Jean variants are, my clear timings are really close in my experience, but this video isn't meant to compare them, it's just meant to give you a starting point on how to play them.
