I've seen ministers use this approach. One great one was Isaiah. This is a great way to directly inject a good volume of scripture into a congregation. Every inflection, rise and fall of the voice, facial expression imprints quickly with lasting results. I love it better than a standard reading. (But it does require work and talent!) The Lord richly bless your ministry.
Hi Josh, This was very interesting. I'm going to listen to the tips again and see if I can put them into practice with my own scripture memory work. Out of curiosity, I put the words: scripture alive jeremy kluth into the RU-vid search engine, and watched him act out Revelation 21-22. He's very good, and what he does is very similar to what RU-vidr, author, and speaker, Keith Ferrin does, which is to memorize full books of the Bible and perform them at different churches. Some of his performances can be seen on his RU-vid channel, such as Philippians, Ephesians, and the entire book of John. Another good and informative interview, Josh, and I just want to take this moment and tell you that I am really enjoying your Bible community, and have been a member for one month and two days now. It's great! Thanks for bringing this wonderful community to us who love to memorize God's word. God bless you, Josh! 😃
Inspiring! The first “long” text I memorized was the character of Stephen (easy one to start with, only two chapters🙂) I also memorize from NIV 1984, because that was the version of my first Bible. Consistency really helps
