I know dust flying, everywhere; what's the point of having one. Hopefully, this will help with most of the dust. just Take it out of the don't want to throw it away wasted money storage, lol. What can it hurt, tfw.
Also, there's a comment by DivaDollFlawless, that you can make your nail dust fan works even better with filling the flow on side of fan with clear caulk you use for sealing cracks, etc. tfw

Omg I was about to say they don't all work the same. Ok story time lol 😂 I have two different ones. The fan that's just like this one I actually had my husband put clear caulk on the opening because the dust was blowing out and not going in the bag. I tried placing bags over top of it with the rubber band but believe it or not it still didn't work so the caulk fixed it buuuut after that he actually dropped it in my table for me and we use a filter on top of it when I say that thing sucks all the air right to the table in the filter I was so happy. I just take the filter outside and shake the dust in a bag to toss away. My husband came through because I just stopped using it but he looked at it like babe I can easily fix that it's a airflow problem and you should put a filter on it so the bag doesn't block the power of the fan. I have to post a video on it because we did it a couple months ago and I posted it on IG awhile ago stating I would share just haven't had the time too. I bought another of these but the fan has a metal grate on it and that one works perfectly fine without any adjustments. Crazy the things we have to rig up lol but it's fine knowing we didn't waste money and actually solved the problem. Tfs Beautiful 💜
Oh my god I'm going to have to try that, because I bought three different kind. the one showing sucks great better then the others two. but I like your husband idea, for my table, please do a video, for my table. But how I do my pedicures I can't do the table. Tfs the info.
DaWanda Barton yup just regular clear bathroom caulk to cover the area. Well I used clear because I didn't want white because I felt it would look messy.
Your name represents you for real, flawless. I'm so eager to try. I just request to follow you on IG. I'm going hunt that video down. I'm so bad with keeping up with FB & IG, LOL. I hope it's ok with you, to quote your comment inspired by you in my comments, to help others with this same problem.
Just a tip for everyone with one of these machines..the fan box is screwed in so if you just unscrew the 4 screws the top of the fan comes off and you can easily wipe the fan down and even use a mini vacuum cleaner and it will suck it right up! I can make a video on it one day :)
You are correct, I've done it before. But all the dust, might turn in to mold inside the fan that the vacuum can't suck out, so to be safe, I use the Clorox and hose. Tfw
Thanks so much! Are you saying you take it outside to clean it and stuff? I always wasn't sure how it clean it without making a mess and I would sneeze so much! I returned my fan but I'll purchase a new one and try this trick. Also do you highly recommend the fan you have? Xo
Yes, I never dust it; to much dust flying, but I bring it outside and clean it with a hose. I don't put water on the power pack, which faces up while cleaning. I use Clorox mixed with dishing washing liquid in a spray bottle let it sit for five minutes and rinse. It's a nice fan but to recommend it as no dust comes out when it's operating, that's a no. But it does suck the dust in great, which I recommend having one. Out of all the fans I've purchased, I like this one the most, but it's bigger in size, which might be a struggle for some that has limited space on their table. Tfw
Yes, for the most part. It's really something to start out with until you can get the more expensive dust, fume extractor, to keep the dust at bay. I'm about to bite the bullet, it's like $700

Sorry, I’m not an electrician, but it probably got over heated or you short circuit it if you didn’t let it dry completely if you got water in the power source.
