I use Djinn bass and it’s pretty damn good. Being able to go from DI, to crunch, to high gain in the flip of a switch is a time saver for getting tracks put together quickly. What you’re doing here sounds really good, if not better though!

Nice! I use my 5-string bass lol. And I do the same thing that I do when I set up my guitar chain. I start with a gate, then compression, then an Overdrive or Tube Screamer, then an amp of your choice I really really like the emissary, then your favorite impulse response, and finally an EQ on the end. Depending on what I'm going for there's a couple of ways I do it with this setup. You can turn the drive all the way up on the tube screamer or the drive pedal and keep your amp on the clean Channel and it will still get that modern metal bite, or you can put it on the dirty Channel and do it that way. Takes a little bit more tweaking on the dirty side. I prefer using the clean side and just cranking up the drive, volume, and tone on the ts808! And don't forget to EQ the master kiddies!!! Pro tip..... from a non pro haahaaa🤪
