Hey this is really helpful, big thanks. I was wondering if you could do one more focused on contributing to the main game and less on modding? I have basic C++ experience but get a bit caught up knowing where to start, it would be really interesting to see someone (who knows what they're talking about :)) take us through the process.

I don't plan to make any more of these videos. I also haven't contributed c++ code. It's a big project and it's hard for me to wrap my head around the code. I know Korg had done some c++ stuff on his Twitch, iirc, you can find him on the forums or discord but I don't know his Twitch or I'd point you there. He goes by KorGgent, maybe you can track him down.

Well, for C++ stuff you are best just asking some of the github wiki guide authors for help.

I just cannot understand people that don't search forums. Like I'm a Linux user, and as soon as I have any issue or bug that's annoying enough to want it fixed. The first thing I do is search the error, and 99.9% of the time it's already asked a Dozen times with 6 answers and some even work.

please provide a tutorial about sprites on tilesets so they can be read in the game

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about how tilesets work. You can hop on the dev discord, though, there's a channel about graphics and there are people there who do tileset work who can probably help you if you don't understand something.

Hey I’m new to this whole thing and I doubt I’ll get a reply but I’m using the Kitten Launcher or was Kaeden Launcher and I’m not sure how to like… use or enable mods since not all of them get loaded when started a new game

Unfortunately, the links for the launchers as far as I know are not up to date. The only way to guarantee a mod works with your game is for it to be included (a lot of mods come with the game). You can try looking up the mod, if it has a repository on github you can download/unzip it and just put it in the mods folder with the others. However, look at the dates listed on github if it says like '3 years ago' then it basically is guaranteed not to work. There's no easy place to go and grab mods since they become quickly without people keeping it up to day.
