Thanks man! This helped me so much! Surprised it still worked for my old GTX 260M. Even more surprised that I had the correct drivers all along, and just need to change a few lines of code.
I wanted to say thanks you helped me crack some of Nivida’s armor with this one got me 4.00 MH/s more on a LHR card combining driver files its been saved its more then worth its weight in gold right now now i need to figure out how to do it for their bios id lock
I do full steps finally in the device manager give me this massage Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) Can you help?
It can be installed but doesnt work. But what if I download latest gtx 750 driver and make thease changes and install on gtx 770 gpu wich is same kepler arhitecture. What will hapen? Will it work
Just as I'm installing, the computer screen goes dark and when I try to turn it on, it won't turn on. But the CPU still works.can you Answer me please!😫
In my case it completes the installation, but as soon as I restart the computer and enter the device manager, the message with the error (code 43) appears. And the Nvidia control panel does not appear. I use the GT 630 Synergy Zotac.
You have to turn off secure boot in BIOS first. It is usually disabled for DIY PCs but some prebuilds will enable it. You can find it in BIOS under boot menu
That’s something I didn’t mention in the video. You need to turn secure boot off in order to disable driver signature enforcement. To do so, you need to go into your BIOS settings, go to boot tab, and turn off secure boot. The terminology differs by motherboard brands but you should be able to find something similar
okay i just installed an quadro m4000m in my alienware 17 r1 my visiion is so bad that when i read the inf my eyes cros and i keep stressing my eyes out trying to do this . is there anyone that can do it for me ill send you the strings and hardware id for my given configuration
oh man thank you so much. Flashed vbios and had the same microsoft basic display adapter issue with the driver not getting recognized but after following this everything worked perfectly
Hi. Look at my curious case. When I do the .INF MOD procedure of version 372.90 (first generation GTX 1xxx drive, Mar / 16) it installs correctly and works well in games and any application. The problem is that new games are coming and I need to install a newer drive. So I tried the same procedure with version 465.89 (Mar / 21) Installed correctly, drive says installed and working but the Nvidia panel does not open. It also says that it is installed but does not trigger the video card. Strange.
hello. My display adapter is "NVIDIA GeForce 820M" and I downloaded the proper driver but when I want to modify it from .INF file, I can NOT find "820m"!!!!! what should I do? please help me.
Can I do the same thing with my nvidia gtx 760 ? The company stopped send driver updates I have now 477 version but for newer cards nvidia has released the 511 ? Can I update to the latest version and bypass nvidia system check with this method ? Please help me
Most likely it will not work because Nvidia removed the support for older GPUs in later driver releases. This is just a way to trick the driver installer but it does not do anything to actually drive the GPU.
First of all, a very good joke at the end there, hehe! 🙂 I would like to know, as I'm new to scripting or programming, I have a modified GTX 1060 with an older version of drivers installed. Can I even use this guide so that I may install the newest WQL Nvidia version 496 from Oct '21 (these are up to date as of this text) for the modified MSI laptop? It runs a GTX 1060 4GB with a mod so that it is compatible with this laptop. The card cannot be updated by official nVidia GTX 1060 drivers. The previous owner modified the older video driver to work, now I must update for Deathloop to run. Thank you.
Win 10 Home, 64-bit. I have already copied all of the modern version 496 Nvidia files to a temporary separate folder before watching this video actually so I hope the answer is Yes. Well please let me know if I can, thank you in advance!
hi dude i did all of that and it worked but at the end it just changed the name of my gtx 630 to what i typed there but like the driver was uninstalled and just the name was changed what should i do ?
So you mean you want to change the name back to what it was? You can uninstall the device in device manager and restart. Then it should go back to Microsoft basic display adapter
If you go to device manager and double click on the video card. Most likely you will see error code 43. That means the reason Nvidia driver won't install is because your GPU or graphics memory is defective. It is a hardware problem and no software mod could fix this. You should take it to a repair shop or RMA it.
@@oddtechreviews8148 I tried resetting and my laptop is actually working properly now with the drivers working properly. Hopefully there isn't any hardware problems. That will save me a lot of headaches.
Sorry I got COVID and just recovered from it. I didn't quite understand your question, so what does it say in Power shell? Could you tell me what error it printed?
Thank you for replying! I hope and pray you are doing well.. Thanks for the video and information. I no longer need help. My build was running a 32 bit windows system. I upgraded to 64 bit and now it works flawlessly. Thanks again. Be and stay well ♥️
