Yes! I shampoo twice with a clarifying shampoo and follow up with a moisturizing shampoo. My wash day starts from I’m that Girl to Summer Renaissance😅😂
@@thesimoneestelle I rotate between Maui moisture Shea Butter shampoo and the Jojoba Eden Body works moisturizing shampoo! The Maui shampoo is more creamy but I really take my time to rinse it. It’s been my staple for a few months and I like it!
What you mean by twice? Twice a month? Twice a week? Also, do you use the moisturizing shampoo in the same washing session with the clarifying shampoo?
@@Yajirobeboo Yeah, well, I was actually concerned about a weekly use of a clarifying shampoo, since the purpose of the clarifying shampoo is to leave your hair squeaky clean, which, unless you’re using waxes or some other styling products frequently, is unnecessary, especially for locks. Locks are notoriously prone to dryness. This means that you need to use the moisturizing shampoo more often than you use the clarifying shampoo. You see, the moisturizing shampoo provides moisture to the hair but does cleanse it, albeit mildly. So instead of using it right after the clarifying shampoo, you should rather deep-condition your hair so as to restore its moisture balance. Normally, a mild moisturizing shampoo should be used weekly, a clarifying shampoo twice a month at most.
Ooooo that shampoo sudded up sooo quick 😍🔥 my locs are layered and I started them myself (4 years ago). I always hit them with 2 washes sectioning them off makes a HUGE difference so you don’t miss any spots. 😎
I had the exact problem she had with the product build up, i let my Loctician use some of her product on my hair that was GEL based when i normally bring my own retwist pomade from House Of Isis and literally right after the drying process my dreads looked like this. now i strictly only stick to my Vegan pomade from HOI😂
Okay this is my 2nd comment lol but omg she saved my life when i saw her washing her hair in sections i always thought about doing it but now i def will lol because the hair be TOO MUCH
