Interested in a dermestid beetle enclosure for skull taxidermy to make some money? We sell them! Located in Minnesota we find the freezer, clean, install, and test run the enclosures for weeks to make sure they are ready to plug in at your location and work. We can also sell them with or without beetles in them it is up to you! Email us for details! Shipping is not available but could deliver if within a reasonable distance! If you want to see some of our work check out our enclosure videos! Great way to get into taxidermy!

Good job... back in the old days we would also add some soft yellow braided rope from the craft shop just under the base's to hide where you cut with scissors. ;)

Thank you for posting this. I was looking at that kit on Amazon but wasn't sure if it would work out. I harvested a smaller racked 9 pointer Sunday and thought this would be the way to go with it.

For better results go to McKenzie taxidermy supplies. Get part VOA200, AMB-2, and H1001. It will run you about $40 plus freight. Get some plaster of Paris and mix it with white Elmer's glue and water to fill in by the antlers. Get some faux leather fabric from Hobby Lobby and wrap and stable to the back of part AMB-2. Much more professional looking mount.

@OutdoorExperiences
@OutdoorExperiences 2 года назад
The white piece is in case you want that cap instead of the red one

@@OutdoorExperiences very cool. Thanks. I’m trying my first mount a little spike so I thought it would be a good practice piece and wasn’t sure if it was for like just antlers. Thanks for the info.

@@OutdoorExperiences Thanks, it is certainly inexpensive enough. The cover looks sort of flimsy. I think I may experiment with using it as a form for plaster-of-paris.
