In this video, I will show how to install a Dyson handheld / stick vacuum cleaner wall mount into drywall without using the stud. I will be using Driller Toggle Anchors instead.

Great video , we found that the fasteners Dyson provides aren't strong enough to hold the charging station firmly to the wall after an extended period of time - the connection for the charger is at the motor end of the Dyson and it's just too heavy for the given plastic anchors - our SIL mounted to a stud which is another way - thanks for this video , one of the few I found that demonstrates the use of a toggle type anchor .

All we wanted to know is if it's okay to have the motorhead/nozzle sitting flat on the ground. Give that cat a broom and dustpan, so he can clean up that mess.

The diameter of the bit has to be similar to the diameter of the bolt that you are using.

I am trying to install my Dyson v10 wall plate which came with 2 wall plugs (1" 3/8) and 2 screws. I am using a Black & Decker 20V Max Cordless drill.

If you are going to use drywall plugs/anchors, you can make a pilot hole with the smallest drill bit that you have. And then screw them in.
