In this video, I will show you guys how to move Desktop, Documents, Music, Videos folder to any other drive in your Windows 10 computer.

I didn't create a folder under the drive D where I'm supposed to transfer my "3D Objects" from Local disk C, I just moved it without any folder in Drive D, It's like I just choose the default drive, now my "3D Objects" has change to "D:\" and it's like I have two Drive D now, the first is the original, and the second is the "3D Object" which just changed the name to "D:\" now, and now I can't Restore it to it's default Location. Please help how to fix it.

Does this keep the file's metadata(creation date) after it was moved?

I am moving 7,201 pictures and i have been here for an hour and its now on 21% is it suppose to say that long

I accidentally forgot to make the folder for it. I tried doing this but for my desktop instead of the music folder. I tried transferring the desktop folder to my D drive to save space on my ssd. Now all my D drive folders show on my desktop and it doesn't let me restore it back and this fucked up my computer. How do I fix this?

@@skyy2037 I don't know if this is the exact article I used before but I found steps that should work: Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor Navigate to this Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders On the right hand side, double click Desktop Set its value to: %USERPROFILE%\Desktop Save and close the Registry Editor Restart your PC The Desktop library folder will now be back in its original location You may have to copy some files from your D Drive back into the Desktop folder

Whenever To move there default location this said that Access is denied. How to fix this problem??

if you get an error resetting to default location, try it again and when the dialogue box says do you want to move all of your files, say NO. afterwards restart your machine. hope that helps

@@Tricknology I accidentally moved my Desktop to my G drive without creating a folder in G drive. Now my desktop show everything that my G drive has.. As I try to restore defaults location my desktop. its says failed to build the list of regular subdirectories "G: System Volume Information". Access Denied.... what should I do? please help😭😭
