Hi, my wife has received the NZ APC, and has started the AHPRAH. I read online however that the Australian licence will only be issued in-person and that you only have few weeks to receive it ones you’re approved . How true is this ?

Which is the easier and more cost-effective (lesser fees) method to obtain Australia Nurse license and work as Australia Registered Nurse? Is it method 1) Applying directly to APHRA (Australia) for nurse registration from overseas (example from United Arab Emirates) method 2) From UAE (United Arab Emirates ) then obtaining UK nurse license then New Zealand nurse license then Australia nurse license 3) From UAE (United Arab Emirates ) then obtaining New Zealand nurse license then Australia nurse license. NOTE: Considering PASSING ALL REQUIRED EXAMINATIONS/TEST ON FIRST ATTEMPT. Please advise. Thank you.

My wife is a RN in UK and prior to that she was a RN in Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka her RN license obtained through Diploma in General Nursing (three years fulltime), and lately she obtained bachelor of Nursing Science from Open University Malaysia. My question is, even though she declared about her degree, CGFNS only requested to provide Diploma's credentials only. Do you know the reason for it?
