Well ........ I woulda paid a decent sum to be taught this. This video shows the brains it takes to utilize every tool you can to becoming a Professional Bass angler. Every business has keys to success and this is definitely one of those. Professional bass fishing keys of the modern age. Thanks for this. Pretty darn cool.
I've used Google Earth for years to get way points by writing them down then converting them and writing that down, then type them in on my fish finder in the garage. Thanks for simplifying this process for me.
This is a gold nugget your sharing Brad.......... Great stuff........... No reason for anyone going to a new lake to NOT do this ..... Thanks for sharing..... Love your page....!!!!
Hey man i gotta say thanks for poating this video. I just updated one of my graphs to the new garmin and i had been trying to figure how to transfer waypoints from google earth. Much needed video and i greatly appreciate it. Keep them lines tight brother
I’ve gotten really into your stuff and your story. I’ve obviously followed you for some time since you were at bass but you dude are so so marketable, some are missing out! Keep doing you! Chris from Mn
Thanks Bradley, I have seen several guys go through this but your video was one of the better ones. I fish from a kayak in Texas so I live on Google Earth.
I’m in the process of saving me some google earth waypoints and I also have the Garmin. Appreciate the video, it helped me transfer it without any headache!👍🏻
This was awesome fixing to give this try on my home lake see how it works I went back to when we had drought and found bunch of rock piles thanks again
I watched Beeswax Creek then and now. Most interesting. Your 32 Gigabyte scrap of plastic is many times the size of my old 1.44 Kilobyte discs I constantly had in my shirt pocket. That has to be Garmin Sonar. Good sonar 1st time I've seen this walk through. Hi value. I sure like the outro music, by the way. Oklahoma fiddle music rocks in Montana.
Dang that's cool!! I bet Scott's graphs automatically upload to exactly where the fish are😉😬! Love the content and opportunity to watch content from such a down to earth pro angler👍🏼💯🚤⚓🧭🎣
Thanks for the tip. I have messed with Google Earth a little. But after watching your video I was doing it wrong lol.. thanks big dog I’ve enjoyed watching you this year 👊🏻
Great video Bradley, that definitely some awesome information you shared. In my opinion this video is just as good as any fishing technique video. Thanks for sharing!!! Good luck next year!!!!
This is off the subject but I need your help whats your favorite jig for flipping flooded bushes. I've gotten into a good flipping bite in the flooded trees and bushes and think a jig might get me some bigger bites. Thank you Hallman any info will be greatly appreciated.
I like the old arkie style head jigs for flipping. Lots of different ones out there. War Eagle is a good start although it doesn’t have the best hook but a good all around jig.
Wow, serious juju right there! Love my Garmin! Thanks Brad, amazing video. Hey I have a question: when you are on the water, do you wear prescription sunglasses? I need a pair and was just wonderkng if you had any thoughts or recommendations.
I can make a suggestion. Check out Oakley’s drop point prescription fishing glasses. You can choose the tints for conditions you fish in. I love em. Their durable as heck. And have a snap on snap off lanyard
@@BradleyHallmanFishing Pretty good day then! All Kentuckies? I'm glad they're setting up like that. I might be able to catch a couple myself. Lived right there 15 years and yep, not a bad lake - especially in winter.
Hey Bradley that was some great stuff I’ve watch some other ones on RU-vid and along with yours it ranks right up there with the best. I am new to using sonar units like this I’ve been a bank beater for years. My question is with the 32 gig card how many different lakes Can you store on a card like this? Not very computer savvy. Lol thanks for your time
Hey Bradley thx for responding to my post and when you get time could you please check out my question about the gig card. Keep putting the information out there to learn from. 👍
Hey Bradley hope your holidays were good an safe. My question is how do you save lake research on your computer if your not done. ie resaerching grand lake an be half done. An then decide to look at lake tenkiller. How do I not lose all the previous research I’ve done. Could you do a part3 to using google earth. Remember not that computer savvy so I need all the help I can get. Winter is here so lots of research to do till spring thaw
Google good stuff Edwin E. Been saying this for a while go back check the history mark your targets weeds stumps rocks at shallow water still rooting for ya.
Can you look at Lake Murray in south central Oklahoma? Guys that fish it say they only fish the north half because the lake is over stocked with small mouth, no grass, a lot of rock and very very clear water.
How about the reverse....if you find add some additional waypoints on the lake, and download them back to your card, what do you have to do to see them in GE? Do you have to convert them back to KLM extension? Thanks for sharing
This case is where Humminbird shines. You can export the waypoints to your sdcard, put the sdcard in Humminbird PC, and then open Google Earth from Humminbird PC. HPC puts the files in .gpx format, so it MAY work for Garmin. Its free, you should try it.
For Lowrance and Windows users, there is now a more powerful way to move Google Earth waypoints. Will also support sorting and bulk-editing the new waypoints with characteristics you prefer: icon-type, icon-color, icon-name or icon-only display, etc. Reefmaster Waypoint Manager: reefmaster.com.au/index.php/products/waypoint-manager. FYI: For sorting and bulk-editing waypoints with RWM, be sure and assign names in GE to the GE waypoints so you can sort by name in RWM.
Probably a good idea if your a Pro tourney fisherman to start removing and hiding your SD CARDS. Uhoh. Lol. You opened up a can of UHOH Lol. 200 pro bass boats in parking lot. Hmmmmmmmm. Uhoh.
@@BradleyHallmanFishing about a year ago I told myself I wanted to try bass tourneys. Just local stuff. I grew up fishing the ocean and fresh. Had both writhing two miles of home. I got real good at catching the local small mouths. Real good. Won some small local things. Then I casted my rainbow Zara spook one more time and it snapped off went flying. To summarize. I went swimming after it from the bank. Woke up five days later in intensive care unit. Spent another two weeks. Lost 45 pounds and had to be paddled back to life a few times. I was 19. Just had my first boy. I didn’t bass fish again until this year. 34 years later. So I started following you and Scott Updshaw and Castledine exclusive. Just watching. Picking up new tips and new styles. Learning all the new Baits and techniques. So in ending. My High for tonite is I’m back bass fishing. And i bought a Zara spook today. Because of you. See yea on the water sometime. Happy Holidays.
