Yesterday I achieved my first muscle up! I'd like now to see an example for a 4 days training week routine, with different muscles train everyday, but mostly with body weight. Thank you 're an example and a point of motivation.

Thx Frank - my buddy and I ... svelt 56 year old men are trying our best to get stronger using your methodology for fitness. Pull ups/Muscle ups are tough. 205lbs are pulled up 8 times to chin level first round and then 3 to 4 second and third. This video gives me an idea how we can move 3 X 12. Thanks for the help from Cdn older guys.

What are the benefits of doing muscle ups besides it looking cool? Are the benefits not the same with lots of pullups, chin ups and dips? What is your opinion. I think my wrists and/or forearms are too weak for muscle ups.

you should explain the mechanics more, the angles, and all that. for me, i go under the bar at an angle, then throw my arms forward moving me to the opposite side of the bar, then smoothly transition to pulling all in the same motion, once you reach the height of your pull there, you pull again only this time towards the bar and use that momentum to push you up in the dip portion. i teach people and they always are so confused until i explain every little inch of the movement and what im actually doing.

you could make a video of how to plan the diet I understand the basics of calories and I see many recipes on the internet but not on how to plan a daily and weekly menu and eat what I really need to eat I have trouble cooking and reaching my calories

Hello Frank, I'm trying to train to become a PJ for the Air Force and my brother who just graduated the PJ program said to get good at cals. I've seen your videos before and I immediately thought of you. What exactly does your cal workout programs consist of? I'd like to purchase the 3 pack but I don't have the money up front for that. I can do just one for now and would start at beginner. Is there a little sample of the beginner course I could see and try out? I'm going for muscle endurance and strength. In 6 months I will be taking the real PAST test. Goes 25m swim under water on 1 breath, then 10min rest and into a 500m swim any stroke in 10 minutes or less with 10min rest, then 1.5 mile run in 10 minutes or less, then 13 pull ups in 1 min, then 70 sit ups in 2 mins, and finally 70 push ups in 2 mins. I eat pretty good and I only drink water, milk, and protein in my milk or peanut butter. I'm 6'1" and about 167lbs. I'm currently doing push ups (up to 55ish one set and 3 sets near that), pull ups (13 in one set and 2 more about that), the standard abs just until I can't bear the burn anymore, dips (About 20 in a set and I do till I get 100 for the workout), and running at 2-2.5 miles nonstop.

How to straight bar dips ? I can t do it. I could do the kipping part ( only sometimes ) but when i want to lift my bodyweight after the kipping part i ran out of strength. Is it because my strength is not enough ? Currently i could do 7 pull up and 25 push up ( 10 month calisthenic but mostly down rather than up so i m not in my best )

I learned these just from doing a ton of pull ups. By the time I got to 35 I could do muscle ups easily but this is probably a more efficient way.

My left side is weaker than my right, so when I do exercise my right side develope more than the left which make uneven posture of my body, can help me in this matter
