If you are looking for physical therapy, you need to understand that there are two types of physical therapists - those who take insurance and those who don't. The difference is in the one-on-one time that each patient receives. Insurance reimbursements are low, so physical therapists who take insurance may see multiple patients at once or have physical therapy assistants help administer care. If you are not seeing improvements with the insurance-based model, you may need to start looking outside of the insurance system for more one-on-one care with a physical therapist, which means you will have to pay out of pocket for that service. You need to decide if it is worth it to you to pay out of pocket. To find a cash-based physical therapist, you need to do research and vet them. Look for someone who incorporates strength training into their program, as physical therapy and strength training are very similar. While virtual physical therapy is an option, it is important for a physical therapist to do a hands-on assessment on you, so it is not recommended to rely too heavily on virtual therapy. Remember, there are options out there.

If you’re new to my channel, my name is Dr. Drew Timmermans, ND, RMSK. I’m the founder of Regenerative Performance in Gilbert, AZ, specializing in interventional orthobiologics, which is just a fancy way of saying we help people reclaim their life from chronic pain without steroids or surgery. We challenge the conventional pain management approaches by addressing the root causes of chronic pain.
How I got here…
22 yrs old: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario.
23 yrs old: Competed as a long sprinter, anchoring the 4x400m relay to a silver medal at the Canadian national championships, contributing to Western's first national title in men's track and field.
23 yrs old: Started working as a personal trainer for GoodLife Fitness in Canada, quickly becoming one of the Top 10 Personal Trainers nationwide.
23 yrs old: Herniated two discs in my lower back, ending my track and field career and sending me into a multi-year battle with chronic pain.
24 yrs old: Enrolled at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now Sonoran University of Health Sciences) after discovering my passion for naturopathic medicine.
26 yrs old: Still battling chronic back pain, I finally became pain-free through a platelet-rich plasma injection.
28 yrs old: Graduated and become a licensed naturopathic doctor.
29 yrs old: Completed the first-ever residency in regenerative medicine and integrative pain management at the Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine.
29 yrs old: Co-founded Regenerative Performance to help people with chronic pain just as I had been helped.
Today: We help people who have chronic joint pain reclaim their life with cutting edge treatments like platelet rich plasma, and stem cell therapy.
To everyone battling chronic pain, remember that your story is still being written.
Never give up.

Hello, I was just wondering how long can BPC 157 typically be used without taking a break from it? I've seen some sources say to take it for a month and then take a break for two weeks before starting again and then I've seen other sources say you can take it continuously for three months. For contacts regarding my situation, I used 1000 µg orally daily for almost 2 weeks and then used 500 µg orally daily after that until about last week. I have not used BBC 157 since about a week ago, does it matter if I start again? I am using it to try and recover faster from herniated discs in my neck

we don't know the optimal or even max time, because it just hasn't been studied. A safe place to be is a few months on, then a month or so off. But we really don't know
