OMG, OMG, OMG!!! I totally LOVE this video. I don't ever get bowled over like this, just so you know. Quick story. I love Downton Abbey. On there, this woman gives a man a little felt-looking dog to carry in his pocket for luck, which he did.... never leaving it behind, ever. Presently my husband works in California and I'm stuck in Mobile, Alabama due to the housing market. I wanted to give him something special like that for our anniversary and I was wanting it to look like our dog Ginny. Now I know how to do it properly. Many, MANY thanks!
I enjoyed this tutorial- you do break down how to attatch long fibers easily. The staggering technique reminds me of curler placement in hairstyling- also in hair weaving. Thank you for the video... ;)

Hello Sara I love your videos thank you so much for putting them up I am learning so much and your animals are beautiful.. please would you just do me a favour and look into how your angora is farmed :( .. and then you might find that you want to find an alternative fibre.. sorry to be such a downer.
I am a newbie to felting and want you to know that your videos have been incredibly helpful. I live in the UK. Can I just use 100% thick yarn to use as noodles?
Hi! Just here to tell you you don't really need noodles. I just needle felt it down the middle till it's sticking to itself then I felt the middle part onto whatever I'm doing. Just stick it on well enough as with anything and it will stay! You also may want to use scizzors to "groom" it to the desired Length. Good luck dearie!

The angora fibers were "plucked" from her bunny? :O I'm sincerely hoping we can have our minds put to rest that your not pulling our it's hair to make a felted rabbit as this would be awefully cruel :'( Please let me know if I got this wrong as hope I do?

Pleas put in the description box were and how you obtain the fur cause there are many horrible places and ways to get it and i was so scared that you had used plucked angora and i had to look up in the comments if you had or not i bet you know but angora is a shady market whit lots of animal cruelty so its good to know you get it by humane means

I make my own using yarn. There's tutorial videos online. Don't be mad, please. I just wanted to stop the scams, lies, and other stuff that pretty much tricks us into not doing stuff because nobody tells us how to make the products ourselves. It's not fair to keep us regular people from learning things and then turn around to sell it. It's wrong and anybody who does it should be ashamed. No hate here, nothing personal against you. I'm just spread the knowledge. That's all. Love your work! :D
Hi lovely Sara, I heard you are using Maple's fur and I got so excited. I'm buying felt via internet so I order synthetic fibers because I really really really don't want to make a bunny out of a bunny, but the synthetic fibers are less elegant and hard to manage. Do you sell felt /Know how can I get felt without any harm? I even kinda reluctant to buy sheep wool online because I don't know how they treat them or how reliable they are to guarantee they don't use cats or other cruel ways :(
Oh Jesus, please tell me she's not pulling hair from Angora rabbits to obtain the fur for her felting projects. It is a cruel and painful experience for these delicate animals. Rabbits are very quiet gentle animals but I have actually heard them let out blood curdling screams on some animal cruelty videos when these people tear out their fur.
Actually I replayed your video and yes you are plucking the fur from the poor rabbit, what a nasty piece of work you are. I hope someone grabs you buy your short and curlies and gives you a piece of your own medicine.
She isn't "plucking" the fur. First of all, you can brush it out and get masses. No pain, they actually enjoy the relief of the dead fur being pulled off of their skin. You can also shave them, or use scissors. I assure you she is not torturing her pet, simply harvesting it's fur in a humane and painless way.
@@bettybho2168 i wasnt going to reply due to this comment was posted so long aga, however how dare you wish such bad things on a person without first learning or researching and understanding? I'm sure you have something wool or a product made of lanolin how do you think those things are obtained? The animal isnt harmed, theyve been sheared since antiquity, no animals harmed but i shouldnt be surprised as most of us humans have a hierarchy since of judgement and its easier to sa horrible things about a person than to first receive clarity
+aswee01 I don't wear wool or lanolin because there are cruelty free vegan alternatives . Why are you commenting, are you trying to justify your own indifference to animal cruelty? I don't care about your petty grievances, I care about the way we treat God's creatures. We aren't the only living beings on this planet, animals want to live without pain and suffering too. Your small mind might actually find this hard to believe but guess what? animals can feel pain and discomfort too. It's ignorant comments and people like you who stop this world from becoming a better place.
