And a personal note to Colleen-you’re already “better” in my book because you do honor guard duty. For you to show up looking your best honors all of us. You’re appreciated more than you know.
I am a cosmetic junkie. Sephora points are off the chart! You name…I have tried it. For the first time, I purchased a lipstick from Nikol Cosmetics. Shock is the first word that comes to mind. The texture is pure delight. The color was a total surprise. Even if I am just cleaning my house, I want to wear it. So comfortable and we hit 100 degrees in Colorado and no bleeding into my lip lines and that was without a lip liner! I immediately ordered another color and again, so pretty. My next order was the eye primer and the BB cream. The eye primer is better than Anastasia’s. Next I tried the BB cream. One side of my face had Laura Mercier and the other side had Nikol’s. Once again, I choose Nikol’s. You can even order sample sizes to see which color (Or a combo of the two) would work for you! The brows are unbelievably the perfect starting point! That one enhancement makes an enormous difference by highlighting all the other lovely existing features. The color choices looked beautiful together. Really pretty!
Love the “this is me, but better” comment. When my daughters started to wear makeup, I told them the goal was to have people look at you & see you not the makeup. The purpose was to enhance not overpower.

Lining the upper lid like that really looks wonderful on film. She looks wonderful--same face, but Nikol's color choices and skillful application directs the viewers' eyes to notice Colleen's features more. Colleen really looks terrific.

I Love this tutorial but because of aging my eyesight did not allow me to draw my brow because I wear glasses. I gave up and finally got micro bladed brows. What a difference.

Beautiful and natural look also. I love her chic haircolor so much ! Looks young and lovely with her short cut. I wear the same and with the makeup I feel more polish. It's specially gorgeous when we are wearing bold and magnificient color like (ex. fushia, cherry red or royal bleue, blouse, dress, etc.). It's like 10-15 years younger with wardrobe who include colors!
I have started watching your new series for mature adults I am one of the women who never did anything with my brows I am in my 70th year sporting a pixie my fave do but my white brows help!
Her skin looks nice, I have a couple of questions. Does she get Botox ? Does she use sunscreen every day ? Did she stay out of the sun when she was younger ? I think she looks terrific.
I use sunscreen every day and have for several years.Ive never been a sun worshipper but do go out in the sun and I golf. I used Botox a few times several years ago but felt it was too expensive to maintain and I’ve never used fillers.
Thank you Nikol for this video, I needed this as my eyebrows are almost nonexistent now. Colleen’s brows already had a lovely arch, they just needed you to enhance them. A lovely natural looking makeup.
I have heard that using pencil to go over the water line that we have glands(?) and to do this will wreak havoc to our eyes, what do have to say about this? And she is gorgeous you do fantastic beauty tutorials! More my speed, we should never have to take an hour or longer to do our makeup and too many I view it is nuts what they do and is not needed. They are professional makeup artists, and well, I just want to put on my best face, and I can do this in 10 to 15 minutes...and look great.
What a lovely woman with a beautiful smile. When you had her smile to put on blush, she became so much more beautiful! I can see how light all these products are, but somehow the ending look seems heavy on her skin. Perhaps because of the hot lights in the studio? And, again, the neck doesn't seem to quite match the face, though I saw you pull the foundation down a little.

Hey there! I'm thrilled you liked the tutorial. Black-brown is a good choice for dark brown hair. Keep experimenting and finding what works best for you. Make sure it's not too harsh you could lean towards dark chocolate brow pencil leaving out the black.
the concealer made the wrinkles in her eyes more pronounced. I think the bb creme works MUCH better than foundation and concealer. Look at the before and after. Also, her lips look pretty thin. Maybe she ought to use the pencil on the outer lip line. Just some thoughts from someone who watches all of these videos and uses the Nikol products. Also, it is unclear how you got the false lashes on. Did you use glue?
Could you think about making your brushes and holder white or cream instead of pink? The pink is a big deterrent, at least for me. I would never want to leave anything pink out on my bathroom counter.
