The bible compares our life to a vapor that quickly disappears, or a plant that is here today and gone tomorrow. Do you think about what happens after you are gone? Where is your soul going? Have you heard of a place called heaven and a place called hell? Today I want to urge you to surrender your life to God. Salvation is gifted to us from God out of pure love. All we need to do is believe and follow Jesus Christ. This scripture sums it up. For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Turn your life over to Christ today, tomorrow may be too late. If you have any comments or questions feel free to ask me.

A few things i have learned. 1. If its a diy job or you plan to take it to get done soon, run your choice of injector cleaner in the gas for a tank before i like to use seafoam. No proof it does anything but no harm. 2. Get it nice and hot, do the rear passenger plug first. Its one of the hardest to get to so make sure to do it while its the hotest. 3. Kevlar heat resistant sleeves and a good pair of gloves are great for this job. You avoid burning yourself. (harbor freight sleeves are good if you have smaller arms, the cheaper mechanics gloves for HF will work if on a budget) 4. Cordless right angle impact is great for this job but you can manage with a stubby air impact or air right angle if you don't have the cordless option. 5. Dont be afraid to get a few done and run it again for a while if its cooled down too much. 6. Have the broken plug extractor kit on hand for when things go south. If you are a diy guy. Autozone rents them out for a deposit and the cost of the epoxy. Best to have it on hand if this is your only vehicle or if the parts store is far away. 7. Good luck, i wish you no broken plugs and a good running truck.

I have a 2008 5.4 F250 with almost 300,000 miles and it runs great. The only problem I'm having with it is the fuel line keeps drain back to the tank and I have to reprime it after its set for several hours.
@Madtech19

Bought my 2005 used in 2009. Ran 5w-30 its whole life, changed it every 3000 miles. The only real problems I had with it were the phenolic pistons arbitrarily hanging up inside the calipers. Just got rid of it last year so had a pretty good run of 14 years. Never left me stranded
@zenithperigee7442
@zenithperigee7442 15 дней назад
@@robertpettit6619 , isn't there supposed to be an anti-drain back valve(s) in fuel injection systems? Idk anything about these engines and I'm not the "Mechanic" but first I expect that the fuel pump/assembly has an anti-drain valve/function of some kind to allow the pump to pressurize fuel up to the point of the regulator, if it didn't the fuel pump would have to run continuously to keep fuel pressurized at the regulator whilst the engine is not yet running but most fuel pumps, run to pressurize then shut off within a few seconds until the engine is started. Of course the regulator also needs a way to route additional fuel back to the tank to prevent over-pressurization so I'm assuming there is a "check valve" in that system as well. So if the fuel regulator and it's check valve are working properly, I'd assume it's some element of the fuel pump assembly allowing fuel to drain back. You said the vehicle has nearly ~300K miles so it's not unreasonable to think that an element of the fuel pump assembly is showing signs of failure. I might would see if I could put a fuel pressure gauge on it to determine what the pressure is, if it's within spec and see how long it can maintain pressure with the key on & pump energized. You said you have to reprime it after it sits for several hours but who knows if after several seconds or several minutes fuel pressure starts slowly dropping which would indicate an obvious problem because the fuel pump and regulator are supposed to maintain pressure at a constant key-on, engine-off. There are only 4 places the fuel can go, 1. into the engine, 2. an opening to the atmosphere such as a fuel leak, 3. through the return line to the tank, 4. draining back into the tank through the fuel pump.

I’m sure this fellas done more of these than me, but i did mine using the procedure autolite showed in a how to video, which I believe is also the ford recommended procedure. Mine all came out in one piece. 1- cold engine 2- with a ratchet, back each plug out 1/8 turn 3- put 1/2 teaspoon of carb cleaner down each hole 4- find something else to do for 2 hours 5- remove plugs with a ratchet, it required a lot of back and forth while the carbon breaks up, also sounded horrible, I swore the threads were coming out, but they were fine 6- put the new plugs in with never seize 7- treat yourself to a few bong rips as a reward for a job well done (you can skip this part, but why would you?)
