Yeah fun fact back in the early days of anime (circa 50s to 70s), anime were called manga (manga literally translates to "comic/entertaining picture" and can actually mean comic book or cartoon), and anime only started to come into use in the late 60s. Today, "anime" refers to both cartoons and anime, with "manga" mostly reserved for comic books, but the older generations that grew up with "tv manga" (e.g. my grandparents) still say manga. My parents (in their fifties) are somewhere in between but lean towards manga, possibly because they're normie af and haven't properly consumed anime since their childhood, the 60s/70s. So in the Japanese language, monsters inc. would actually be classified as an anime.

It was based on my anime list. At the time of filming, AoT was higher rated than Fullmetal Alchemist. So if he didn't buy the AoT figures, Garnt would have lost a point. SAO was below FMA, that's by popularity.

Thing is some series that don’t get much merch have a Funko Pop. Like Gravity Falls mostly gets clothes, a few books and very few plush so the Funko Pops are a godsend for me.

When he took out the eren figure he said that it had a sword stuck to the base so I'm guessing that sword was actually for Levi but for what ever reason they stuck it to the wrong base
