Great video! 👍I've got the same model and had to replace the wifi/bluetooth module (~$35 on eBay). Be careful when putting the back cover back though, as some of the plastic tabs on the sides may bend if you push the cover down when it's not placed just right (they fit into the holes in the metal) - luckily I was able to bend them back and the cover went back on.

My TV started to freeze and power cycle, and more people have the same issue, I was told I need to change the mainboard, I hope it works. Thank you so much for the video, now I feel confident about disassembling it.

I bought two of the same model lg's at the beginning of the year the kids broke the screen on theirs so I put it to the side. This video its Not the same model at all but gave me the confidence to try and it worked thx for the help

I like you have a backlight LED strip on the Tivvy. I do this also and it really helps eye strain when watching in a dark room to have the wall behind softly lit. I do not know why Tivvy makers do not build this in as an accessory. I think it would make a good selling point.

The board you didn’t know what it was is the T-Con board Timing Control it controls the panels vertical and horizontal lines.

My oled65cxpua is turning off every 3 minutes any idea what it might be?

When you opened this tv did you notice if the power supply said 120v or did it say 100-240v Its odd the tv supports 50hz which is not normally found in america

Quick question to anyone that has replaced their main board. I'm about to swap out mine this weekend because of RU-vid services applications keeps crashing and also my fire stick 4K.. after swapping the main board does the TV turn back on with no issues or do I need the service remote and poke around in the deep settings?

thanks for the helpful demonstration! I watched this to replace the main board in my C9. So im going to take you up on your offer for help. It doesnt display and im wondering if anyone has a pointers before i go buying more boards. I'm a tv installer. my c9 was taken from a customers house and was replaced after it was hit by a surge. lightning hit their DirecTV dish and destroyed the MoCA system. when i diagnosed the tv at the customers it would turn on and operate menus and things fine but did not see any inputs, bt, or wifi. i hypothesize the surge went up the hdmi from the directv box and fried the controller for inputs. after i took it home i diagnosed further and found that i could play 4k vids on youtube over ethernet with no issues but still no wifi, bt, or any physical inputs. i popped in a new main board that was said to have come from a tv with a bad panel but worked fine. i have no picture now. i get the red standby light as usual. it blinks 3 times when i turn it on as usual, i even hear the power board quietly click when the screen is supposed to turn on but i have no picture at all. any ideas on where to go next? i was going to get a tcon board next but wonder if it may have to do with any of the wiring between the boards. sorry for the long explanation but i wanted to be detailed. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks!

I have a C1 65". The screen has these pixelated lines that start spasming before it spreads across the screen, after which the TV auto powers off and wont turn back on. Ive had the screen replaced twice under warranty, once on my own. It keeps doing the same thing each time after about 6 months. Tv is mounted on the wall using an approved tv mount. Any suggestions or ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks to anyone who responds 🙏

Hi, I have a question. My power cable is broken on my C1 and I need to change it. Do I need to change whole PSU or do I only need to remove power cable?

Is it easy to change thermal paste on these boards? Looks like my tv is having overheating problem.

Not sure if its my PSU or main Board… Tv started going black screen every few seconds, 2 days later, turn on and screen is completely black, can not even see menu/settings etc.

Man yesterday my 65” c1 (bought in march of 2022) turned off while me and my wife was watching and now when I try to turn it on my red light will flash three times total and the tv will click once and boom that’s it. I’m sick.
