Thank you for this video. Subscribed. Quick question: space echo VU meter lamp replacement, how difficult? Do you have to tear the unit a lot farther down to get to the meter? I have a replacement lamp and lead, just need to put it in place. Thanks.
Thanks so much for this. I need to see why my 501 reverb stopped functioning and I'm hoping it's just the plug. This is a great help for my confidence level!
@@phewson8907 No. I did attempt it but something had happened to the connections in the reverb tank so I am planning on replacing it as my best fix still sounds a bit off. But it was super easy to access and figure out.
Can be useful for getting access to selector or pots if they are crackling and you want to spray in Deoxit. And if your reverb has died then it may just be a loose connection which is also easy to check (they are just RCA connectors). That's just a couple of things that are easy wins. Also get the vacuum out and (gently!) remove any dust.
