How To Operate An End Dump 

Thanks!! I’m about to start doing this Monday coming with no training. Been driving for 30 years and hauled a lot of different trailers but never a dump. This video is a lot of help. Bout to look at it again and take some notes. Thanks

If you ain’t learning you ain’t living the right way. Just purchased my first end dump last Friday ole Hobbs spring ride double barn doors. Needs some work before my first load but it’ll get there. Sentimental value type situation my grandpa on my moms side used to pull one just like it and he’s up in heaven watching over me. Wheels and wings. Keep er shiney side up driver ole Pete sounds good I got a 92 379 in the process of redoing the interior on it ready to go haul some stuff and get this debt paid off

My worst experience with an end dump I was green and didn’t know any better and no one let me know but I loaded a load of gypsum on a bare trailer you talking about shaking the trailer made me remember that nightmare. I had to shovel that whole load out with the trailer all the way up. Got it off and told dispatch that I would never load another load of gypsum as long as I live.

Stupid question but when you say get inside and shovel product if its unevenly loaded, are you standing on the product, or doing this from over the side of the trlr?

If you pull a frameless with no blocks on the fifth wheel it’s going to slap every time you change gears and give it throttle
