I'm about to have my 5th baby and hate the diaper genie too. Got rid of it after baby #1. There's no need for it. We just use grocery bags to wrap dirty diapers and throw them in the trash. Cheap and easy! No buying refills or anything crazy like that. So I agree!
Faith4lly Homemade everybody swears by it i though i was the only one that did not like it at all i do the same after every change i just keep the grocery bags to throw them out in the trash can
I absolutely hate the diaper genie toooo. The claw is frusterating so I ended up just getting a small trash bin to put beside my daughters changing table.. I use dollar store scented plastic bags and if its a real stinker I throw it in a plastic grocery bag first. Plus its way cheapee than buying the refill bags for the genie. :)
With the diaper genie I figured to keep cheap gloves that you fine at the doctors offices in one of the drawers and throw the glove away with the diaper.
