I want to know apart from calming down hyperactivity, sensory integration, improvement in gross motor,fine motor & oro motor skills what other major field OT works in dealing with autistic kids ? I'm a mother of Autistic kid & through all this over a couple of years.
Hello As you must have seen in the video, OT deals with activities of daily living which includes self care skills for a child. Also, age- appropriate play development, cognitive training including child's memory, judgement, concentration and attention; Perceptual skills training for visual discrimination, figure-ground perception etc.;
