I've been through this for so many years, I'd blackout all the time even though I knew everything. The highest score i'd get would be 63/100. Finally I got over it and now I don't get anxiety I can get 90/100 or more. :) and THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE TALKING OR PANICKING BEFORE THE TEST. IT DISTRACTED ME SO MUCH AND DISTORTED EVERYTHING I HAD LEARNT phew haha Loved this video :)
Thanks this helped me. I'm a sophomore taking honors classes I'm doing well having all A's except math with a C. Idk I used to do well in math, but lately I've been doing very bad. Now I'm anxious whenever I'm taking a math test whether it's a summative or formative.
This is very helpful!! Thank you for sharing your tips and advice. I started having testing anxiety about 2 years ago, literally my stomach would hurt and my mind just go blank.
Never try to look at other students, because this can make you panic even more. When you see students who are writing a lot while you are not writing anything at all because you don't know the answer, you will feel less confident. Also, when they turn the paper and you're still on the first page or when they are done with the test while you are still in the middle of the test.
Thank u so much gabby I have an ap chem test tomorrow I we so scared and this always happens to me but hopefully I can pull through and overcome it,I feel more confident and honestly u are really good (u deserve 1 million subscribers 💕💕💕💕,biggest fan)
Omg this is so true those side conversation always get to me ! Thank you for this advice iIgot a chemistry exam coming up in 3 days and this is really helpful !
This is so helpful! Especially since I loathe any form of testing lol. Could you maybe do a video on how to deal with public speaking anxiety? I'm planning on taking a speech class, but the thought of me talking in front of a crowd terrifies me.
These are lovely videos. I wish I learn these technique during my college years. One thing I struggle most was the multiple choices. I hope one day you can make a tip video on this subject.
Thank you soo much! I took my driver's license theory test (? I don't know what it's called in English). I watched this the night before and guess what: I passed! With a 100% actually. So thank you!
I always do > don't study in the morning. Make sure you sleep well the night before. And skimminh the test and skip of those who you don't know. But most of all when you get the test, just sit and a take a deep breath before you even start to read the paper..
+Gabby Aikawa haha yes I know people tend to do all nighters but when you arrive at the test you are dead tired... Same goes with the :) studying before the test. Humans can only focus well on something for 45 min after that it fades away. So if you study all morning, by the time you start you just finished that 45 min of focus... And it will take at least 15 to 20 min before you regain it again.
Yoooooooo I agree with the music thing. I always tried to listen to a song that I liked. I remember listening to summertime sadness a lot before my tests.
Could you make a video on making friends in college as a freshman? Especially in class? And how to (in a not awkward way) ask for someone's number or contact info so you can later study with them or try to become friends with them since you may meet them in 100+ person lecture? Thanks Gabby love you :)
I also felt awkward asking people for their contact info. However, I got used to just casually asking if we could stay in touch and be study buddies. As long as you and the person are on good terms it will be easy.Just be courteous and respectful when asking to make sure they are okay with sharing their number and contact information. c:
