Have you ever tried to judge and experience love in the same moment? It’s impossible! These two feelings are at the opposite ends of the emotional spectrum, which means when we judge, we turn our back on love.
Despite our best efforts, we all judge from time to time. Judging another provides a false sense of superiority: we position ourselves as appearing right and the other person wrong by default. The impact of doing this causes separation from love.

Thank you so much! Your explanation of "you are projecting your judgments on others" really made sense and helped! I've never heard of the tapping technique before so I'm very interested in trying it.

This video is so helpful, can someone tell me why the school system doesn't care about teaching ppl about these topics, ppl at my school bully me mostly, judge me, insult me, pick up fights and they're basically immature as heck.

Good question, luckily it seems like tides are shifting with meditation and tapping being offered as classes in certain schools now. Not much help for you personally I'm afraid as it takes time to implement changes, but it's looking like there's at least good things coming for future generations... Focus on what you have control over, what you can do for yourself, build your emotional resilience, find your own tribe, become indifferent to what others think of you. Not as easily done, but doing this inner work is a worthwhile investment as it will affect everything (relationships, career, happiness, etc) for the rest of your life. One good thing: you're interested in this at an early age. You got this

This issue has crippled me and shot me in a downward spiraling life in which is night and day to whom I was prior to “this issue”. I feel that I have heard and tried just about everything however, I really feel that it somebody would be able to write out a list that is guaranteed to work because they’ve gone through it similar to the 12 steps of recovery but for the mind, I and many others could quicker heal.

Wondering your thoughts on what happens when "not caring what others think" actually just leads to obnoxiousness, malignance and plainly destructive behavior. I have seen that before and see it’s actually the same fear with just another mask (for ex: “I’m going to go out of my way to be needlessly terrible just to prove how little I care of what you think…because…in reality...I am actually scared to death of what you may think. Maybe if I’m obnoxious or go overboard I don’t have to really be w/ myself, or even really be with you (no matter who you are) -- and the natural rejection that can occur when I am simply who I really am. So let me be over-the-top, extreme, obnoxious, intolerable.”) I’ve seen that, too. However, in my observations: it’s simply boring + quite inauthentic.

Yes, been there done that. It's an "I don't give a f*ck about anyone attitude". It's a shield of protection, covering up deep insecurity, and often shame, guilt, etc. What I'm talking about isn't 'not caring', it's 'NOT WORRYING' about what others think. Freedom lies there. I still care, because I care about other people. But who I'm being isn't altered just because someone might not like it. There are exceptions to this, like with anything. If someone is very shy or uncomfortable, I might tone my energy down a bit initially, until he or she is more comfortable. Or I might show I like the person, and give approval. But that's just intuition and good social skills. That's altering my behavior because I care, versus altering my behavior because I'm scared that I won't be liked. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

@@Social-anxiety-solutions Thanks! However, I once recall seeing a video of yours where you readily admit to being (or aspiring to be) an 'a-hole' and have heard some real-life reviews where you actually show up in front of others who have done nothing to you in this same, totally-random, definitely obnoxious and uncalled-for, "IDGAF if I'm bothering you" way. So what gives? In some spaces you present yourself as mindful, thoughtful, caring, deliberate but in other spaces you come off as someone desperately dealing, still, w/ some of the very issues you talk so much about. Do you perhaps still just grapple w/ this stuff in your day-to-day life (appears so)? Is that all this is? You're perhaps coaching as you're still learning, yourself, but in reality you absolutely haven't mastered some of these principles yet, either?
