After 55 years old, I decided to recover my stolen childhood and my lost adolescence and decided to color my life ... so i bought pencils, pens, watercolors of all colors and I decided to learn how to draw! on youtube, I looked at these flowers and thought they would be impossible, then they are very light and diaphanous ... I thought I would not have enough lightness in my hands, because I had never drawn anything in my life ... but the softness of his voice and calm in your words guided me ... before I had asked God to open my mind and soften my hands ... so I made the most beautiful flowers of my life! I cried, I cried for joy! Thank you for sharing this so beautiful gift with us! God bless !!!! And besides learning to draw and paint, I still learn English, because its pronunciation is clear and calm! So, again, thank you very much!
Linda Lacerda it’s amazing how art connects people and what emotions it evokes! From my video to your creation, and from your words to me - that precise moment in time. It’s incredible :) God creates this magic. Thank you!
My mother in law’s birthday is coming up and thanks to this video I am having a go at painting some poppies for her as they are her favourite... I loved this tutorial, thank you so much!
@@mariorossi7225 ah yes I agree.. when the stuff looks terrible it does ruin the mood.. I am scared of painting landscapes and I end up ruining them , so I get what you are saying
Thank you, thank you! I find poppies so difficult to draw, but doing it this way I actually drew a flower that looks like a poppy! Thanks again. I have. subscribed! 😊
It is very beautiful and the ready painting looks more complicated as really is.Perfect for a day like this, when I came tired from work and have not too much concentration.I did it with the white nights scarlet red , that I have bought after seing it in your videos. It is a flash of color against the gray winter here in north Germany.Thank you!Havea great weekend!
Thanks for the video, it was nice and easy to paint it and also a good way to understand the pigments and the papers. I love to see more videos like this!
This is absolutely great! Thank you so much! You are an excellent art teacher, I learn so much from your videos! I get super inspired! Lovely, beautiful, fun and whimsical flowers! : )
Thank you so much for this video! I haven't touched my watercolor for a year because I got so frustrated but it's calling me...LOL! I'm going to try this.
Thankyou :) I just got my first brand new sketch book and too scared to mess it up (I'm a beginner and not very good at drawing my sketches to start) so this will be a good first page to get over that fear of starting it.
Lindo seu trabalho. Acabei se me tornar fã. Mas posso dizer perguntar porque não aproveita o pincel com a tinta diluída p fazer as pétalas de trás já que estas são mais claras nas pontas?
I just bought myself the mijello set and ordered a bottle of oxgal with it, heared that mjello like white knights does not flow that wel,but with some oxgal in your water even if a drop or two it should improve so i am looking forward to test it, perhaps it wil help your white knight paints to ?
Let me know how it goes. I was considering getting the QOR oxgall as it is synthetic, because the real oxgall apparently has a strong smell to it as it comes from the gallbladder of an ox.
I wil let you know, and some brands also sell synthetic oxgal i believe. I sniffed mine after your comment haha but it doesnt really smell like anything unless you press the bottle under your nose but its still not super strong perhaps and that is pure i am plannng to mi a drop or two ith my water so doubt it smell anything then. I wil let you know what happends i have schedualed some time this evening to play with it.
@@AlyonasWatercolourCreations Thank you so much!..........I've been feeling a lot of creative block, and I thought don't expect masterpieces.........go through a journal and/or watercolor paper, and just paint without overthinking too much. I very much appreciate your videos and answer...........please stay safe.
Essentially it's layering watercolour, and it has to be wet on dry. So you start with first "layer" let it dry fully, this part is important, and only then apply second "layer" i.e. glaze over. It can be with the same colour or a different mix, depending on the desired effect. Hairdryer or heat tool is highly useful for glazing technique to minimise on waiting time :)
I love quick draw and paint warm ups to get me going. This is fabulous! Thank you! I purchased a set of Russian paints that I thought were White Nights only to discover they were not the same company. They are still lovely paints though. Did you purchase your pans separately in order to create a unique palette or did you purchase a pre selected set?
They might be their student grade version. Nevskaya Palitra is the brand, and they have both professional which is White Nights and the other which is the student grade watercolour. I made this set by taking out the more opaque cadmiums etc and replacing with stunning transparent colours they have. If you scroll down to some of the older videos you will see me demonstrate and talk about it. :)
@@AlyonasWatercolourCreations I contacted the company and they are adamant that they are a completely different company but also located near St Petersburg. The pans are an odd size that are between full size and half pan. I purchased the 36 set for only $33 US dollars on Amazon so I can't complain too much. They are actually quite nice overall.
TFS! This is very beautiful! This is an excellent tutorial and I am excited to try (I am an absolute beginner) BTW...If you try Oxgall, can you please do a video and show the comparison between using the White Nights w/ and w/o it?
Now i know that it is okay to draw flowers using first a sign pen Then water colours amasing i will gonna do that my water colours is now calling me hehehe Thanks for this video
Hi there! I just saw your tutorial and loved it. I painted the poppies and i am so happy about my picture. I posted it on instagram, with the note that i painted it with your youtube tutorial. Do you have instagram? So that i can tag you there? I made it absolutely clear on instagram that it is not my design, but an exercise I did guided by your video!
